Seow leow lah, today BT papers commented the poor market sentiment, morning market turned out the otherwise. Though the market assisted to gain back some ground on those stocks which I kept earlier, but not time to happy leh. SPC, Kepcorp and Kepland Div need to wait another few weeks ah. Dun know tan ai ku boh(hock kian lah) meaning Don't know must wait long long or not. Cheers. | ||

Wow! Hol in HK huh? Enjoooooying it and extending some more...hmm its a good sign for you. Nothing can beat a good rest which is beneficial to your health!!! Back to STI, i just have this kind of feeling that the current rally lag some substances in it..maybe its vol, maybe its outlook.... even if we've hit the bottom recently and the worst is over, the future isn't bright either. Where is the ingredient for rally? Unless of course the stock markets are really oversold with respect to their fundamental and outlook.. but that doesn't seems to be the case for Sg. I think 3000pts is a strong resistance. Just my personal view.

hope to wriggle out of the bear mkt soon... though the big bear may fall again soon but at least technical rebound is in sight! let's hope this can last more than 3days... | ||

hullo pikachu! yeps, am on holiday. still am, actually. was supposed to be a short 4 day trip. instead extended to 16 days in all. hee. Am in HK. lovely place. It's spring, and all the flowers are in bloom. ...and i seem to trade better on hols than at home. geez. perhaps because less stress, and less time spent in front of the comp (so no overtrading). how've you been? :) and how's everyone doing? |

should break 3,000 today then fall back a little. DJIA rallies tend to last three days. follow accordingly if you happen to be in sti calls. heehee. DJIA: 12,750 = level to break. equivalent: STI = 3,000. ie, lock in around that level. Only if breaks on sustained increasing buy vol, do you choose to enter again. |

Since DJ opened market till now, it captured at +222(EU is holiday), with not much adversed news posted in World Market News, in particular in Wall Street. Congrate Idea, you were the great winner on Short and Long today, plenty of kopi $$. Should take your advice to Long SGX at 6.70. Though I missed the boat but I supported later with 7-13 cents higher. But I thought you will Long + 1 or 2 days, I didn't dump them. Hope tomorrow gonna be a fine day, if not eat grass already. |

In this kind of volatile market, one needs to be fast and sharp and if really uptrend, maybe average up in 2 or 3 steps and then no more. | ||

Personally I believe STI is gradually moving upwards despite the low volume today. Higher high and higher low is forming. Also, there is news on Businesstimes.com.sg that some funds were actually doing accumulation last week. So my take is, start buying the undervalued stocks, but buy in small manageable amounts first, call it 'testing water' if you wish. I'm expecting some stiff resistance around 3000; intermediate resistance expected also at 2950. Downside I'm expecting somewhere around 2800 for some support. The next low that develops must not break below 2745, else all bullish calls are off. Trade with care, for right now we do not exactly have a bull run yet, only signs of a small calf roaming around. |
