OCBC did not factor in the SGD appr recently. The price is 91 cts based on S$1 to HKD$ 6.

The trading in HKEX is also out of peg with SGX pricing. In HKEX MIDAS close at HK5.78 (96.3Scts)with thin trade. Not good......

I suggest stakeholder to add HKEX stockcode 1021 to track your asset. There are 2 MIDAS listed in HKEX.......related ??

Since listing......long sell Q. I think it is going to get a bit cheaper.

Summary: Midas Holdings (Midas) has successfully concluded its global offering and secondary listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The group has issued 220m new shares at approximately S$0.93 per share, raising net proceeds of S$187m, of which the bulk has been earmarked for expansion and potential acquisitions. In addition to its ongoing expansion (which will enlarge production capacity from 20,000 tonnes as of 2009 to 50,000 tonnes by 2010), Bloomberg has reported that Midas aims to raise its capacity to a further 70,000 tonnes by 1H12. We view capacity expansion initiatives positively as these form the premise of its earnings trajectory. While we remain positive on Midas’ growth prospects and strong financial position, we are turning cautious on the stock following its recent rally, and prefer to seek more attractive entry levels as we await the group’s 3Q10 results. We reduce our rating to HOLD on valuation grounds and adjust our fair value estimate to S$1.05 (previously S$1.29) to account for the 23% dilution arising from the share issue. We will turn buyers at S$0.95 and below.
