Yes, it's been a very unusual market these last few months.  I don't think there are many who could have foreseen those exceptional events which took place.

Wonder what's ahead now ...

victorf      ( Date: 14-Apr-2008 17:19) Posted: we have our worst performance for our call for certainty till 11th April...index only slightly higher from 3050 when we make the call....only gain of  76 points at 3126 on 11th April before uncertainty steps in....it is a bit abnormal...normally when we call for certainty, index can gain about 500 points till our uncerainty date....this really shows that the Market is really in a "EXCEPTIONAL" state...while you can see blue chip such as capitalland recovering from 5 plus to near 7, you can also see china shares plunging in a way no one have seen before....till here i can only say that we have our worst performance since the past few years. In times of uncertainty, i can only give you three rules Rule 1: Be disclipline Rule 2: Be disclipline Rule 3: Go back to Rule 1   28-Jan-2008 12:00 Straits Times Index   /   STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors x 0 x 0 market will be back to certainty from 1st February till 14th/21st April....it will move higher high (see now at around 3050)...buy on dip and good luck trading :)...Market is always RIGHT :)
