STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

volume was aggressive during the morning session...lunch time now...let's watch the afternoon session...dunno if it will be restrain by the 3150 level or not...this morning saw a report from Philips Capital...stating next resistance at 3191.40 | ||

What AK sensed Vict was that stock trading has no mile stones, be careful along the way, don't fall off the road and beware of on-coming trucks. Sometime still can guess lah. For exp, DJ closed mid day at a gain of 190pts after mid nite. I guessed Wall Street would be good next day, hence before bed, I Q some counters. But others guessed early than me, they got the Q when STI opened this morning. I also got few lah. I listen to our sifus to take profit, unloaded some to buy coca cola. Will keep those got good potential one loh. Ha ha. |

pardon me if i get this wrong...do u mean to say during this uncertainty period for this week...be discipline...and preferably not trade? stay out of market till certainty sets in...?

market in uncertainty mode...flunctuation of 50-100 points are common and like today again...if you are lucky to guess yesterday that JP will be in good shape, you will strike a bit today (as can go either way)....my advise is still 1. Be disclipline 2. Be disclipline 3. Go back to Rule 1 |

DOW is definitely very into the green now...last week on Friday we saw STI rally over 60+ points to close somewhere around 3126 on a low volume...jux 25points away from 3150...well on 17-Apr, will see if 3150 act as an resistance this time and spring down...or if it cross 3150 and close above it...well...great to be vested! |

b cautious, hit n ru, dun b left with carrying the baby, bb wud capitalise on dow's +ve close 2morrow n push up pxs to unload n also to contra........2morrow Leading indicators data n philadelphia sentiments plus merrylinch/citi's result, if econnmic datas n earning results below consensus, then dow wud tank 2morrownight....so hit n run 2morrow n do not b left carrying any baby. yep JP Morgan shall set the tone...all will already be expecting bad reports...should news be better than expected...waa...the sudden optimism will fall into place again...but once again...this might not be a domino effect...as we still have to wait for Merill Lynch & the 'all-time-favourite' Citigroup

thin volume also validates the the market UNCERTAINTY mode as no one is sure about the market (like gambling) at least for short term (in term of weeks)....it is more event and news driven for now...rather than fundamental or technical...good luck :) | ||

volume does not matter in one-day stand...only matters in day-to-day...and Market still in Uncertainty mode and definitely volume matters in the the current market mode....good luck :) | ||

market still in uncertainty mode...one day can up more than 50 points and another day may down by 50 points...it is not easy to get day-to-day prediction....however, one day prediction is easy and market will perform well today (as least can say about today only)...but remain unknown for tomorrow and next....good luck | ||

Since 2 Apr, Kepcorp was much the hefty div driven, till now we see gap , 10.14-10.92, support line likely would be 10.50 till XD leow.Hopefully like that go, if not I eat grass leow. Cheers. Had observed that players push it up in the morning and later play low to correct profit. A good counter for shorting but the brokage charge is high, not much meat to eat leh. |
