Midas report Q3 with 13M SGD profit. BUT total comprehensive income only 2.3M SGD. The 11.3M SGD in exchange loss or they called it "Translation differences relating to financial statements of foreign subsidiaries" I think got problem.......afterall it is a near billion dollar company. |

This is a trading play stock for me lor. As long as there is a few cents of profit. I will let it go. Just like srmyt said. It has been trading in a narrow band for quite awhile. This is actually an opportunity. Forget about buy and wait becos: a) Low VCD DVD $25 per 10 lots b) HKEX listing is out of peg and it is always cheaper to buy there than here. This referencing is what holding back the price here.

Not impossible but very hard....walled all the way to 105. 1021 just fell 20cts to 5.69.

Hi srntyb, u r rite. Dividend is nothing & I do agree this is a good company. Last highest price b4 HK listing was $1.07 in Sept if I remember correctly. Well, keep our finger cross, hope it breaks $1.02. |

Bluesky, having said that, I've been playing Midas for 3 yrs. The dvds are nothing to look forward to but when the price dips and you get in there, it will always normalise to above $1. Its proven to be very fruitful for me as Midas on the whole is a good company. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

On Monday, Midas re-tests the resistance at $0.995 and closed at $0.985 with HIGH volume of 11.57 million shares traded. A white candle stick with LONG upper shadow indicates that traders prefer to take profit rather than buying above the resistance. Both RSI & MACD are bullish as MACD lines about to perform a “golden cross”. Important Resistance of Midas: $0.995 Immediate Support of Midas: $0.935 Currently prices are supported by the 20/50 days MA. From the charts, we could see that the prices are attempting to break out of the falling trend line as well as the technical resistance at $0.995 There was an attempt today to break out of $0.995 but failed. SEE ANALYSIS FOR GENTING HK Investors can watch if Midas can breakout in this week since it would be a bullish signal if the falling trend line can be broken. |
