I suspect we are at a pt where bulls and bears are almost on par. Some stocks have in fact started being pushed up despite the Dow's negativity. So 2 ways to play - either stay sides; or be very selective about the buys. Some stocks have in fact, bottomed and switched trend to up. |

its an unorthodox phenomenon. last Thu nite DJ plunged 200, but next day STI gain 4. last Fri DJ down 51, today early the morning STI down above 30. ha ha, if last Fri history will repeat today, then we may see better performance on STI end closing, as compared to the morning free fall. hope only lah. cheers. |

Dow tested 11267 before recovering, heng ah! May see a test of 11300 on Mon night; but should see some recovery (minor green). Mkt looks like consolidation. Expect a pretty big move either on 5/6 Aug. Wedge formation. NO guarantees on which direction it will go though.

some going up owing to the interim div announced earlier, ie SPC n Kepcorp. And coys are going to announce their last qtr results next weeks onwards, ie all the 3 local banks, their today's dip were not much, though most of the analysts claimed that the local banks last qtr earning may not be promissing as compared to the previous same periods. | ||||

anybody remembered last week one of the days hit a low volume of around 780million or so...? anyone got the exact figures? curious of how the volume is dwindling ...wonder if it will be below the previous recent volume low can't long nor short ...sidelined...extremely low activity

though with the bright side and couples with NDP bash, 2morrow investor likely will stay sideline liao. today traded vol was 1.023b, not promissing to boost trader's morale leh. ak will definetely stay sideline liao but may do tech short for SIA n KepCorp, see can earn beer $ or not. ha ha. |
