As mentioned before.. still shorting with CFD...dont go against the trend....following teh flow of the tide is make your trading more profitable. |

believe HLJHLJ meant bear rally. belated update (from my thread): i had initially expected DJIA to trade in a tight range with slight bias down; but things changed the last half hr (picking up abt 4pm actually); due to the hurricane downgrade and oil dip, which lead to HSI staging a spectacular recovery. ie, directional change for STI tmrw. what i had mentioned about linkages and how we're all linked. So traders had rushed in to buy the last hr to set up for longs (instead of shorts) in the 1630-1715 slot. overnight trades. the UJ had broken strongly upward of its pivot abt 4 pm too. agree with singaporegal. low vols. very sian actually. means V recovery which most will likely miss, and it'll be a sell into rally scenario yet again. |

thanks man for the info. need more than just a chart. For me, I find yahoo is the best at the moment to look at TA. However, it is delayed timing. Guess I need to buy some subscriptions in order to get real time info.

Dow is having its rally now.... +216 at the moment. hope the uptrend momentum can last long till closing... Believe tomorrow nikkei will follow, STI will follow also.... wat a beutiful rebounce for STI today.... is that a "Dead cat bounce" happen here ? anyway lets cheers for a better day ... tomorrow never dies......... haa

hi all gurus, STI +45 but STI ETF drop by -0.02. any gurus here know what happened? i thought ETF is tracking the STI  ? thanks for any advice offered. |

Be careful. Volumes are not high today. Beware another dead cat bounce setup. I always prefer slow, gradual increases supported by large volumes over large sudden surges with low volumes. The former is more sustainable. |

this type of market with low volume sure is very easily manipulated...it is just SO SUDDEN a sharp spike at the very very last hour..which nobody would have expected it...the volume looks set to be around 600+ million again when we went for lunch break...then the sharp increase came about... the likely cause might be due to the DOW futures rocketing upwards in a big manner and the oil price broke below the $110/barrel (it even hit $105).... surprise? well, such environment still very scary to long or short...most would still stay out volume volume please come back |
