I'm expecting the investigation will take around 2 weeks. The results will determine the fate of the shares. But i think another major selldown will be unlikely. Most likely cherry picking. Any further upside will depend on Q1 results.

There shouldn't be any cashflow problem with cgx because they have raised so much money. The main worry is whether any portion of their cash pile has became unaccountable for. Their cash balance problem should be somewhat different from hongxing and hongwei. So i think quite unlikely for cgx to go kaput.

The Chinese article in Zaobao seems to suggest that the unaccountable money was due to investment in the upstream expansion. Well, that is a big relief, provided this is the case, and more important, there is an expansion going on.

The violation of SGX rules that such move should obtain shareholders' approval is secondary. As expansion projects are always welcome in the pointview of investors, approval is just a routine at the EGM.

What we want to know now is did they really use the money in the project, and is there such a project?

It makes logical sense when we look at the developments in 2010. They could have had their eyes on the expansion earlier in 2010, funds was a problem at that time where the IPO proceeds from Singapore listing were spent on the sewing machines and the land. Measures were taken up to shorten their credit terms to customers, or impose cash terms where possible, and even draw on bank loans. Money was still not enough after they exhausted all ways available to them, then came the idea of dual listing...

But then, why is there a need to hide the fact that the money is well sepnt on the expansion, and the non-stop falling price after the debut of Korea listing, I ran out of idea even with the wildest imagination...

I have to say I have not been sleeping well for the past week as I am heavily vested, but one of a bloger's take really made my day. here he goes: " The auditor couldn't verify the bank balance because there was more money in the bank than the accouting books..."

I think many already kanna half dead or in ICU or Coma liao. Rubbish S-Cheat, lucky i didnt kanna any till now maybe i was very very lucky time bomb didnt bomb me, but that doesnt means i will always be lucky if i play S-cheat again. It just like dancing through the land mines with blindfolded eyes. Dont know which is the 4th, 5th or 6th big bomb.

Do you know that many of them are making fake accounting ?? Many of them yet to discover.... Why them choose to list at SGX and fetch such a lousy PE here ? Why they don't list elsewhere offer much much higher PE ?? Just name the most recent one was China Milk..... Of course not all S-Chips are bad.... what I concern if you just need kenal one you are already half death.... just inmagine 100% capital lost...

I only buy S-Chip with strong cash flow, low liabilities and good business model (net margin is good > 15%)

Unless they provide wrong financial statement. Economic grow strong at China, China stock not easily clash for the time being.

(TA only show the past/record/referrence so dont apply). Good Fundamental is important for a company, but good honest CEO/management is even more important! A bad management can kill a good company, but a good management can save/improve a bad company. A supercar is nothing if the driver is suck. Remember those milk scandal in china? After that incident who still dare to buy china's milk? That time all buy milk that made in other country, even their own people dont trust their own product. And the lastest is tinted pork, greedy and dishonest businessman there only want $$$, they dont care about integrity or value trust like those branded trusted reputation company(eg, Nestle). As i always said, NO Trust = NO Value. And if u want to sleep better and well without everynight nightmare, u better dont anyhow buy most of the S-cheat, u die also dont know why. And even u know why, u dont even had a chance to spit/puiii on the CEO/CFO! Unless u buy your own air ticket, fly all the way there, and not sure if u really can find them, china so big! Singapore u break the law u try run la, from changi village to tuas south catch u in 1 hrs. And jail+cane+fine all throw to u die pain pain cry till no sound in toilet. Pls support more local, why go support those S-cheat that keep cheating us? Backside too itchy ah?

Their culture/thinking/law/education/value/integrity is different from us and they will break the law anytime even they think is nothing wrong. Eat first Think later. Strange? Why all S-cheat suspension 3 in the row this year all from textile sector? Why all get caught by Ernst & Young auditor? Other S-cheat using other auditor can undertable so havent get caught yet? U know why S-cheat company mosty got audit issue? One of the reason because in china if u want to do business well, u need to undertable a lots, so sometimes it hard to telle account. And some dishonest management like to pocket quietly and that their culture in china. I got friends do business in china so i know a lots of monkey business, corruption make them more easier to do business. In singapore, if kanna caught, jail and fine till u siao, and where can u run? All police at checkpoint waiting for u.

Maybe their shares do not worth 0.40 at the moment so after kdr collected money liao, their sides BBs quickly dump plus short the shares back to 0.22. Still a win for them. Then when maybe other BBs start collecting the shares at huge volume, this leaked news hit them so they played safe dump first in huge volume. So now everyone no choice bo bian have to wait and see how serious is this matter lor.

Hohoho...Sad but true, that right true, true...Handie panky kind of business, it was d last day that teeth53 saw many heavy selling, sold down ny 24% or -6 cents to 0.19c, b4 halting, there after 3days, it was susp....

Its clear to me, it's cloudy for others b4 and after listing. Long oredi said take oneself must take chances well at every turn as would be players have not seen the truth, some may not even believe nad or has chossen not to believe when it time for make ton of money.

From the posts, I can see many here are vested in this counter and hoping for positive results and pulling out with hopefully postive cash invested.

This is sad but true:

1) Don't wait for it to rise back to the level you have bought. If you don't have a cut-loss limit, you should think seriously about it now. (0 % return is really bad.. )

2) The CEO and all his friends are still humans. IF they have reduce their holdings, things are not as rosy as you hope it will be.

3) Did you know the volume before the halt on monday? 139 million shares changed hands.. for a penny stock this is note worthy.. Who have unloaded till 19c? No need to guess.. see the numbers and they will give you a clear indicator.. I doubt there are enough scripts for those CFDs shorties. So you should know what I am trying to say here.
