ooops. i read fm the thread it's releasing Q1 results. if it's year end results, then we can expect some 'angpow' money. Read fm some articles Steve Ting is a very generous man. cannot wait to hear the good news  |

Thanks alexmay, you were right - it was considered as 1 trade only!! 
But was wondering why today's action of FL seems so disappointing? Nearly 1.5 mill of shares sold @ 17cents in the morning already (nearly 2 mill shares sold as compared to only 137k shares bought...) 
tot today should be a happening day for FL?!?  Really hope to see/ hear good results by today & going forward...

Notice strongger buying today, probably due to annoucement of result tomorrow. Approximately - buyer 2m lots and seller around 1m lots at average price of 17 cents. Result should be promising but anything expected will be a disappointment. Basically, this counter has yet to attract BB full attention probably because of its low price and low margin. However, if its strategic business plan will to fall in place and profits starts running in, the potential of it turning into multi-bagger cannot be denied. Furthermore, at just 17 cents, I personally find it rediculously low for the following reasons:- a. dividend yield of 3 - 4% (when the price is around 13 cents) vs bank interest. b. even less fundamental counter in the market hold higher premuim than Frontline. c. had been profitable company for the last three years. d. well planned out strategic business by the management. End of the day, it depends on individual's investors long / short term investment outlook for this counter, personal objectives etc..... Well, to pen off, sincerely hope the management will give some Goodies to rewards its shareholders for their patient and time for Frontline to implement / carry out their strategic business plan for future growth.

stock_newbie , If my order to buy in the counter today was executed in full but with 2 different counter parties, is it considered as 1 or 2 trades in case of the transaction costs This is matching of your order, its considered as one trade, but for matching purpose, they have to show that who sold you the shares for payment purpose, correct me if I am wrong all the sifus out there. Frontline div is normally not bad. |

They are releasing year end results, not 1st qtr result. Hope to get some good news to send the stock moving upwards. |

u'stand companies usually do not give anything for 1Q results because it's still in the early stage of the financial year. hopefully FL will do something diff. |

Hi all, understand that FL will be releasing its Q1 2007 results tomorrow, will like to check its potential going forward.... Price had been hovering around 17cents lately... is it too high to be vested in it already? Is it a good stock to hold for dividend income? Thanks alot!! |

Frontline kena block lah, how to clear the log, wait for another day where Mr Ting hopefully give something substantial to the loyal shareholders, like a special dividend, or something to shout about. |

Those who bought in mid-April 07 at around 14c are locking in profit at 17c or 16.5c before the Report Card is out. FL faces very strong resistance at these prices. I don't think this back-log could be cleared today. Thence, it is stuck in the mud. The news 2moro better be excellent (anything seen as expected will not be good enough) , or else Sellers (Speclators) will be out in FULL FORCE. Just trading commonsense from a small player. Cheers! |
