ayo....AT MOST..sell all their ships at 50% discount and split the returns to each shareholders loh...this way it can still fetch a higher value then it's stock's trading value now rite? :P hee.... | ||||

this was the thread i started. Now that i revisit it after 2 yrs.. its price jus gotta worst. This simply shows that the shipping trust model is flawed. Unlike business reits or property reits. Ship as an asset depreciate faster than others. With global economy dragging its feet together, shipping doesnt seems gg to recover anytime sooner too. But have to agree that the current price is low.. but no pt getting in now yet unless u are prepare to wait for 1-2 yr recovery. http://spikesandcurves.blogspot.com/

Yes the report is for 4th qtr. But it did not say that the lower DPU is only for the 4th qtr.

The reduction in DPU is drastic. Management should say if it is only for 4Q2011 or if it will be permanently this low. If it is permanently then we are finished. It is a junk company. |

Ya!! Sometime people think differently instead of remaining in the slow moving vessel, they think they can jump ship to a better,faster and cheaper one mah (sounds familiar: Our great union chief said this before- LSS) !!! This is what I think. I may be wrong and likely I am b'cos the market is always right and NEVER wrong. Hehe!!!

well..current price is below it's 52wk low...no matter wat price they enter for " long" if they are selling out at current price...it is more " loss" then the reduced DPU they forgo :P...crazy..haha..anyway waitg to scoop up at rock bottom price...hee

I believe many longed on this stock b'cos of its dividends as oppose to putting in the bank. And now the DPU is reduced they reckon that the amount (div) they will get in the future will also reduce too.
