They are going to hv capital reduction exercise by giving excess cash = to abt 57c to each share holders w/o dilutiing their shares holding and this amt will depend on the no of outstanding shares in the market on the date they announce to exercise it.

Shares price go up, the company is more like an investment company, it will have good earning and divident will be high, share market go down, you don't need to expect divident, as they are using the money to buy at low.....

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Maybe because it is an investment company. Maybe people feel that when the company gave out too much dividends, it will affect their cash flow. I also remember the company NAV was $4 plus at one time but has dropped to current NAVwhen they reduced their cash holding by distributing the cash back to shareholders. Or maybe people feel that the returns are not guarantee as it may fluctuate depending on its' investment, which mean there is a possibility of not receiving any dividends for the year. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	yes 41c tax exempted sort of disappointed with such `low' dividends this time rd after selling footstar. but it yield abt 19% base on last closing price of  2.09...woh 19% dividends yield which counters can match this unless those giving bonus like fragrance, Ee Ren Seng etc... However will the price drop more den 40c wen xd???how abt its long term prospect? these are the question u need to consider when u wan to invest in this counter..
