Ya loh..Well agree w/U. At least CP boss so far keep it promise, for AIG fund mgt to float above 5% to said that they R in (till their target px is reach), then they R out below 5%, so in btw their px , i sought off tikim, tikim abit loh.. can make abit of kopi $$$, eg -5% very gooood liao.. |

teeth53, forget about AIG. Even if they continue to buy, market will not respond to that as good news. They are simply terrible, sell and buy just like another other retail investors. The will not be able to give investor confident. In fact, if the continue to buy at lower price, CP share price may continue to drop since AIG may sell at a even lower price later. So to me, AIG buying is not a good news but a bad one. What u think? |

If AIG can bot up to average off lower. I can Q jus below their px to be sure winner, jus trying my luck as yesterday CP is down to $0.33 and today up by 0.010cts to $0.34cts |

Twice STI almost touch 2,400.00 pts by just 1.0 to 4.45 pts, oredi bargain hunter started d 1st round. AIG funded $$$ is no small money, they took some profit when going is abit uncomfortable, so sold abit to recover and now a major player in CP and they see it coming yah... Cheongg...ahhh.... |

After selling, AIG Funds have started increasing their stakes again. They now hold 5.63%. This stock should rise. Looking to buying more if it falls further. |

Hi Stockking, ur 0.30 will hv to wait abit longer liao. today it move up again .005cts to $0.385, unless over the next few mths px can drop back to STI index of 2000. i hv tot of STI 2400 but never reach, oso how ?? |

Me taken profit earlier loh...don't think this stock can run again anytime soon. Will most likely correct to around 30c level over the next few months. |

Technically, fully agree with U. Bullish all d way since it hv some how gone to it bottom, look like it's recovery time, (take time to move up) but will still hv to look at uncertainty in DOW. Most substantial shareholders is taking a leaf from temasek lesson after all profit has run up a few hundred %, once US interest rate settle end June, hope to see substantial shareholders buy back. This time after all it cheap to buy now. I am sure what they sold at, they will buy back, for they oni know mnch better then we do, just watch those big boys trade. If U must trade, trade within ur mean. No greed pls. |

China Paper needs to clear away the force-selling that will take place next couple of days, due to the recent mtk drop. If you look at the vol generated last mon (14th may) and the day before that, I think u need good vol of at least 20 million come this mon or so, as well as for the stk to clear and close above 0.395, to generte some sense of bullisness abt the stock. Two things to note - the long term uptrend line seems to be intact, also the last 2 days closing price generate 'transparent candles', ie closing price higher than opening prices (a sign of some demand, or bargain hunting). If the thing abt mgmt selling is just a phobia (after all, quite a number of substantial shareholders have sold their shares, eg Zh powerpl, Bio Treat, jelc, etc, and if u ignore this but just concentrate on their earnings, the company has just announced eps of 2.2 cents for q106 - annualised it and u get 8.8 cents per yr - implying a pe ratio of less than 5 times ! This earning comes on top of margin expansion at the gross and net level, even after paying taxes, which they didnt have to pay in 2005. In fact their q106 earnings increased by 55 % (yoy comparison), even after paying taxes. There is also the possibility they might further increase their manufacturing capacity further (via acquisition), alluded to in the Kim Eng analyst's report.. Technically, this stk will really look bullish, if it can clear 0.425 decisively, with good vol (say above 20 m). |

Oredi i hv tot of d break out px, base on last week strong support $0.38. On condition Monday vol is well supported, likely to see at least two round of good going together with China based stocks, as along d way there's ppl taking profit, so $0.48 is still sometimes away, a faster way is CP bosses can buy up some of it own shares, that will, will surely catalyst beyond 0.48 & move more toward it reasonable value range, a new high beyond $0.525 |

Loss of confidence in management is bad for any counter, takes a long time to restore confidence (eg Elec & Eltek in its heydays and now) Dividend yield still attractive for this counter, if it continues to deliver on strong earnings growth and pays out attractive dividends, confidence may return For now, liquidity seems to be drying up so hard to move without interest in this counter. Yes, I do share your view of a gap at $0.48 to be filled in the medium term. The point and figure chart that I plot have a strong resistance at $0.405 near term, and much that I have bullish view on this stock, I chose to remain cautious after the break of $0.38. I do hope that I am wrong. Certainly, a strong break above a $0.425 will signal a reversal. |

This could be regarded as a good value stock trading at a single-digit PE. Watch out when there is a breakout of $0.425 and there is a gap at $0.48 to be filled out. It is just a matter of how-long-in-time to reach there but the recent correction (if you see it as healthy one) could be seen as a catalyst in my view |

WS was also very positive about Zhongguo Powerplus last year, valuing it at around $1. Look where it fell to. Nobody took the weather into account. |
