Only bet it can go up is, Unless Utilisation rate will not be affect, China companies around the treatment plant are not shutting down. If not will not have impact on the price Wait for the sign to be clearer in china... What will move this burger is utilisation rate.. Factory in china doing US trade are shutting down, wait for news that it is stabilised 30 cent is a attractive price, dun understand why Capital Companies Inc is selling.. That why i stay sideline on this counter first, watching closely on what might effect it utilisation rate.. |

Agree will gradually increase. Must have patience to hold. But most importantly buy at the right price, if based on historical, if buy below 35 cents will have 10% gain every year. Not need to constant monitor price, just put one side and collect div. Like collecting rents for properties, but must prepare to hold 5 year.

just like to reiterate my point that water is non-cyclical, strongly advise investors who buy this counter to go long and reap the very stable and high returns at current prices. water shortage will only get more acute in the world, and if you believe in the china growth story, the utilisation rate for the water plants will gradually increase. | ||||

As this is a trust fund like a REIT all depend on DPU. Investor tend to focus on the div (DPU) and trust price. Most investor will be focusing on its return and assets than its management. Eg 3.5cents DPU based on buy price 37cents. About 9.45% yield. Not bad, assuming next year DPU will be the same or better. But if based on IPO buy price, it is not attractive ler Eg 3.5 cents DPU based on buy price 76cents About 4.6% yield. Still ok Unless you can forsee big utilitisation on the plants which will increase DPU in the future. Price likely to remain stagant as it is base on yield. Somemore sponsor unit waive its DPU, so that the trust holder can get more this year. Need some time before we can see increase uilitisation as the plants are all quite new. |

just curious, can anyone explain why this counter doesn't seem to fluctuate much. I had monitored Hyflux from 1.50 till today's high of 2.10 but HWT doesn't have much upward price movement. | ||||

if u read the fs carefully, they state something like there is a minimum utilisation rate for each plant, so in a sense there is a minimum rate for each plant, so it is very unlikey that utilisation will fall to 20-30%.

HWT achieved total revenue of S$13.9 million with a profit after tax of S$3.2 million.
