STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

Eh... go for price action safer. EMA is a very lagging indicator. By the time they reflect a downtrend, it's easily a few hundred points down already. Sometimes it's hard to second guess what the funds are up to. But read Elfinchilde's posts on her blog to get an idea. Follow the big trades. I personally will NOT be going long until the trend really shows recovery. Now we're barely at the start of a new downtrend. |

I have included all the 3 emas (25ema, 50ema n 200ema) for a clearer picture. The 25ema had cut above the 50ema n both are trending up, soon both the 25ema n 50ema will also cut above the 200ema to form the bullish golden cross.

The DOW should still be bullish as both the 25ema n 50ema is still trending up n hopefully soon formed a golden cross with the gradually flattening 200ema which is likely to subsequently also turn up. The DOW daily chart with 25ema shows tat the 25ema had been providing very strong support, bouncing it for about 6 times, will it again bounce as it again touched the support, failing which it will probably test support as per my earlier posting below, ie 8400 at the 50ema.

What happen..so quiet here?..like a ghost town all of a sudden..no worried, the rally is still on till latest mid July.. here for this week over at Wall st,

buy gold and silver cheap...the dollar is "tok" up by russian minister...it got no fundamental to soar with the trillion printed fiat.. but one honest truth...it is still the better fiat paper compare to the basket of fiat it is traded..Euro is even worth.. |

i dont thk Obama will allow Israel attack Iran, after all the trouble to make peace go to ME to give peace talk.. stick to my gun, buy cheap tomolo....q low low..dow 9500..sti 2600..by July. |

Iran shd not be an issue, i dont thk Obama allow Israel to attack Iran solo...Obama is more of a diplomatic, unless Bush.. if it is Bush..he would have combine with Israel and attack Iran.,. i dont oil supply is in any danger also.. but market is using this one to take profit.. i dont thk rally to end till 2600...dow 9500..but it is good to sell so can buy back cheaper later.. |

The 8 months DOW charts shows more clearly the support at 8600 followed by 8400 which is the 50ema.

Last week til now, Dow only drop abit. Today "pengsan" expected. STI hopefully will not be affected as today already "peng". Tomorrow should be only slight drop follow by some recovery. Continue monitoring, cheer.

DOW for sure will close above -ve 2%, sure more than 200 points i guess .... more sell down ? the px is so low liao, wonder why the fund manger will still keep dumping ???? make it lower ? buy in cheaper again ????????

I guess sti will not drop for weeks as fund managers need to get ready for window dressing in 2 weeks' time. After that as what cheongwee mentioned, run for cover. | ||||

I guess tonite dow will drop hard, shortists will pull sti down in the morning and then push it up after 3pm. |

Recently is like that. S'pore STI drop first, than US DOW drop. But tomorrow may still drop abit. I guess.

tonite US will have a sharply drop as $US has climbed up, hopefully the regional market already factored in the drop in today ... tomorrow just a mildly response lo ....

and then perhaps I should buy the mother share instead of the rights share. so many ppl playing contra on rights share over past few day. Final day of nil-paid rights share end on this thurs (correct me if i am wrong). If those ppl who shorted or accumulated many lots cannot make the $0.59 payment for conversion to rights share (mother share) then another round of drop of price may occur. perhaps then i go bargain-hunting again :D | ||||

i also know. but if they continue to short, I would rather cut-loss now and then go in later. since last week, US and Europe had not been doing very well. G-8 didn't mention any form of recovery in theie statement. only said "stablisation".................now ppl wants to see recovery, not stablisation. what if the recovery is a square-root shape or even worse a "W" shape? my opinion is as so but I may be wrong. Who knows whether this is a correction and when it will end? luckily i made some profit during the rally, so now still didn't lose anything. phew.....
