From DBSV: No change in our market view – Current consolidation is a pause, STI’s major up trend should resume once it ends. Nibble on weakness. There is no change in our technical view that STI’s pullback from 2424 represents a pause and not a reversal of the major uptrend that started in early March this year. The major rising trend should resume once the consolidation ends and STI should head towards 2560. In the near-term, a best-case scenario would be range bound base building from around 2200 to 2320 prior to the resumption of the major rising trend. Or the worst-case scenario of a dip towards 2100, testing either the 65-day exponential moving average (EMA), currently at 2125 or the 200-day EMA at 2108 before the rising trend resumes. In view of this, we also stick to our view that investors

No need to worry lah! Cheongwee is right on the bullish STI chart. alreadi cross 200 MA so decisively , how can now U-turn and go down right?? only way is up and up! Chart movements dun necessarily follow economic news.Everyone is hooked on the green shoots story now, so as human nature, we want to continue to believe and hope.... 
The only thing that is going to spoil the show now is interest rate hike by the Fed. But of course we all know Fed will keep up with status quo untill green shoots grow into a green tree! By then, STI already surpass 3000 ! then you just sit here and wondered why you did not buy when it was only 2300??

There are still some news that ppl watching over : State shutdowns loom as deadlines nearAt least 19 states still have to approve their fiscal 2010 budgets before next Tuesday. If they don't, staffers might not be paid and services might shut down.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- One week and counting. An unprecedented number of states have only days left to pass their fiscal 2010 budgets. At least 19 states are still hammering out their spending plans as the recession wreaks havoc with their finances and sparks fights between governors and lawmakers. If spending plans aren't approved, state workers may not receive their paychecks and some government offices may shut down. "A lot of states are coming down to the wire," said Todd Haggerty, research analyst for the National Conference of State Legislatures. "More than what's typical. The unprecedented economic situation is creating a lot of difficulty this year." Some 46 states end their fiscal years on June 30 and all but one require balanced budgets be adopted. |

as what i said before, too early to judge ..... this kind of situation happen many times liao ... when everybody is expecting good news or supporting announcement, it always make us down .... trade with care .... be more cautious !

factory is doing badly, i have know sub contractors to MNC here...telling me they have less contract and down as never before and fast....but personally, my business somehow still doing ok...but going forward, i do not thk i can escape...i am ready, just like SAR... if you are working, work hard, add value to your work, try to keep your job..as for me, i just pray that there are less doubtful debt..less business also never mind.....just like week . i already got a check from one guy who call me to cash the check later this month....you know what he means....time is bad ...finally ,subprime have finally come to my door step.... i have some friend who are holding high post in the financial sector,we happen to be in the same country club and most said sept and oct period, thing will get urgly...this is what i hearsay...no prove, but stay side line is safer...if rally continue we just simply jump back in...pls the news is no credible, but i like to share..as a matter of what if it is true...pls DYODD.. |

Actually the real cause of all the problem in financial crises stem from GREED.. greedy for more sex, more money, more power, more glory...will be the cause of our downfall. but who the hell am i to talk big here..for i am one of them..who greed for more ...but at least i am in the knowing, so i got control...i take profit when hit tg, i cut when hit tg.... only those who let GREED run all over and out of control are the one to suffer the most when dow and sti next hit new low. |

but as a matter of fact, blue initial was penny and mid cap...but if you are lucky, then u strike gold... for example now you buy EZRA..and 5 to 7 yrs,,,they become another venture, then u strike gold, but u are betting..hoe can we know...thing can changes...look at celestial..look at Jaya hlding....so i rather they turn blue then i buy them...other than that it is just purely another trading counter for me. the only counter that i speculate and long are gold and silver stock, but they are very volatile and risky, but since i bought them very very cheap, i am secure, unless they go back to 2001 to 2003 px.. i thk very soon 2 oz gold buy 1 dow industrial ave...time for me to clear off PM stock like Richard Russell said...and back to buy more blues...like , coca cola...etc...gd luck
