maybe can take a look on bank stocks as positive news on banks and thats why DJ surge up yesterday, hope the reporting of GS, JPM, BOA... all are good. cheers | ||||

Yes, it is good to invest in 4d and Toto too... But make sure you invest and not gamble... Invest means you play a small amount for a very long term... eg. buy the same numbers for months/years. Only then will the odds be in your favour. But you must predeternine your max. amount of loss, then back out once the loss is reached. Then you have a bad investment. If you buy a lot, then you are gambling! ... you will then be a gambler! hehehe...

In my opinion, Dow will definitely go down tonight. STI will fall again tomorrow. but if those bank shares, Singtel, Wilmar never fall heavily, STI maybe still above 2200.but for those property shares, shipyard shares and other unlucky shares will drop much more and more. even STI so high, but to us, never invest bank ,Singtel,wilmar, olam,yanlord etc. it's no meaning

Coscocorp was one which i was reasonably bullish last week. But, as i mentioned in another Cosco thread, if it cannot stay above 1.29 conclusively, then there's a risk of downtrend. Hit 1.30 then.... the rest is history. My saving grace was the hard cut loss set at 1.24. Just hit 1.10 today.

I think it's those investment insitute from western country. they regard stock market as ATM. when they need money, they push up the market, when they earn, then they leave. only left those retail investor like us!

Larry Summers says on recession - I don't think the worst is over. I think many analyst is too optimistic, or maybe showing herd mentality or maybe a parrot..... Green shoots? Refer to my previous posting. When i was in UK in June, market over Europe were talking about big institutes withdrawing funds from stocks market in a record pace. This concur with my broker telling me that now per transaction are all small volume this may imply that BB are leaving for good and only small traders like us still unknowingly supporting the market. Be careful with such situation. |

Most of shares fall a few cents almost everyday, it looks like that put the frog in warm water. Capitaland :4.2 to 3.3 keppland:3.0 to 2.0 coscop: 1.44 to 1.1 Eza:1.4 to 1.16 indo: 1.4 to 1.03 Golden agr: 0.44 to 0.29 Only Olam and yandlor are a exception. where is ending? Shit! |
