STI had broke the upper sloping resistance at 2328 and now at 2349.

Hopefully, it stays above the resistance line at closing and next few days,

form a higher high and hgher low and preferably re-test tat line as a support

to confirm the bullish contracting triangle pattern.

I suggest u learn TA, master TA and u are the master of your trades.

I had created a thread "Learning TA", search for it and learn as much as u can and practice makes perfect, post your analysis n learn from fellow forumers opinions n exchange pointers.

This is just my interpretation.  

For a stable bull run, a stock will moves from low to average volume. When the stock comes to the above average volume in situation that trend is already running. After several strong moves you see that last day is accompanied by strong volume. This is warning sign. When I am in trade and see such situation on my chart, I like to do these 2 steps:

1. sell or cover part of my shares into strength  
2. move my stop closer

Strong volume after several trend days means that big players are trying to exit their positions to the hands of latecomers.

Think about these:

Volume up + Price up = uptrend

Volume up + Price down = warning sign --> uptrend reversal about going to downtrend

Volume down + Price up = warning sign --> downtrend reversal about going to uptrend

Volume down + Price  down = downtrend
