STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

The problem with release of solid economic data is that it often only serves to let sellers sell into strength at higher prices... Because after the great reports, the trend may proceed downward... while the sellers chuckle their way to the bank (Cheongwee may be pulling her heavy bag of gold)...

if you leave, then you miss out potential profit...but if you stay, you may loss big time.. so i thk you stay, so you ride the wave and trend, but use trailing stop...it works!!! 2 wks back it work for me...lose only a few %...only.. the rally now are supported by solid economic data, unless this quater earing is bad, which i dont thk so...that is why ppl are buying, thus you see a few % correction then rally continues.. and LEI is solid also.. EW is controversial..they dont tell you time...it is only when the wave is completed then you can say this the so on and so on wave... usre trailing stop will do the trick...

when all other index break out,, sti still stuck at 2700.. when dow break 10000 n earning season comes in.. good chance to break 2700 for good.. | ||||

still the same forcast...though i am not being too bearish or bullish for the short term...but looking ahead is important for the trading strategy in the next half a year (though there may be some rally at end of year and early of the year, but my bet is that STI will not touch 3000)...one may buy for the last leg up (to chase for the last 10% profit) but the best is by May 2010 build up CASH for the next round of buying...good luck :)

STI had risen about 82% since March low, whereas Dow only about 52%. Maybe that explains why STI is lagging behind even when Dow surge. Dow should gap up to about 10400 level. | ||||

My thoughts on STI: Oct 07 till Mar 09 was wave A of a bigger wave 4. Mar 09 till now is debatable. Mar 09 is the beginning of wave B of the same bigger wave 4. I believe that this wave B has not ended, and this is the last leg. I also believe that wave B will retrace 61.8% of wave A, hence breaking 2700 and go to ~2960. That will be the end of wave B and the beginning of wave C of the same bigger wave 4. This very wave C will break the low of the before-mentioned wave A. Therefore, i say that STI have ~10% upside left and the bottom is far, far away. I am selling into strength, what about you? |

last 6 mths was technical rebound or recovery from lows...the bull has just started for the next 6mths....in the next 2-3 mths, analysts will be quick to roll out revaluations reports.. | ||||
