The middle-class made up more than 70% of the population.

yes...if more default on debt...huousing, credit card, auto loan and etc....all those money printed also not enough to replace all those money disappear into thin air....so where is inflation, stsgflation maybe, but it is not...

look the treasury are still supported. Chian and Japan are still buying...look at the rate...where is inflation???...printing alot of money may not necessary cause inflation...ppl always think printing more will cause inflation....look at Japan..rate at near zero also...inflation???...it is deflation..because ppl are in debt...how to borrow..even if your interrest is zero...i still got to pay back the principle...how to pay when i got no job, or my job suffer pay cut???...

Px of gold are currently hold up by speculation, not demand, except investment demand which some 20%...this is amount to big downfall, when these dry up...

it got to be real comnsumer demand which is 60%...but since gold up so much, those consumer have come out to sell..and consumption is down 25%...India is not buying much..China is not buying also...it is markt speculate that they are buying...except India and Sri Lanka...buy also no much..200tons

just a matter of time it will have to reverse to the law of supply and demand.and fall big time....selling soon....vested.

Agree with u on human nature point. But wat if jobless continue to go up and start killing these "big spenders"? And on the other hand, fed keeps printing money and keeping interest rate at zero? Haha, the answer is wat happens to Japan now - a Deflationary economy !
