Not true. Many people cannot wait that's why they lose. If you have patience (abnormal levels of patience) and good timing skills, then you can win them. Who says BBs never lose? BBs also have both bears and bulls agreeing and disagreeing at the same times.

It has been proven time and again that those who stubbornly hold on to their views about 'fundamental' lose a lot of money... while their stocks went down. and many may still be waiting and waiting to break even, if ever... hehehe... |

cant really agree w u. cus everyone say BB, but who, in fact, are the BBs? nobody, no matter how rich, can go against the flow. citi, morgan stan, dubai, merill all BB. but they are still at the mercy of the mkt.

Actually the big boys are as conversant in the fundamentals of stocks as anyone else... So don't belittle the big boys and insult their intelligence ... hehehe... |

One thing that I learnt in stocks is this: Never play/ride with the BBs. They have the holding/waiting power, we don't. They can drive the price down and when u sell, they'll buy it up and push it up later. They can afford to play, but can we?? It's a losing game if we do so, cos the ball is in their court. Best way to invest is to study the fundmentals of the counter before putting your money into it - if Warren Buffet has amassed his fortune this way, I'm sure we too can do it. |

If you look at NOL and COSCO's charts, it doesn't look optimistic. Even with time, it may not recover with the economy - as they have been hit by a number of not-so-rosy news previously. Trust in a counter can be very important b'cos investors (not traders) are putting their money into it - at least for mid term. If the general public has not mid/long-term faith in it, should you? Unless it's fate takes a turn for the better. In the meantime, it's just a manipulated counter. Risky, and I won't go for it. |

It's better to buy fundamentally and financially sound counters. I'm quite certain the rally will be selective. Investors today are more cautious and selective. Go blue chip, and you can never go wrong. With that said, I wish all vested great tidings and returns. |
