When theres a huge road block usually its BB wanted to block it from going up as it has shorted significant amount of shares. Especially when there's no insignificant change in value and volume in the past weeks. Its all Shorts. All it takes is another BB collecting his shorts and then throw another block of shares at a few cents higher. Then he (BB who is collecting the shorts) will do a flash push to and force the BB to cover its short. This is What exactly happens in RafflesEdu. If my calculation is right the burst will be here soon. Go check the value and volume the change is insignificant. Its just waiting for the right time to explode. |

No one can be right all the time. Even US big banks screwed up big time on subprime. Lessons are always learnt... AND relearnt. Sometimes in a costly manner. Anyway, the only thing one can trust in the mkt, is the current price. For that is the true current pricing (though not necessarily the valuation) by all participants who are actually in the mkt. News is merely news. I've mentioned it before, if news is always good to trade, then the editors-in-chief of financial papers would already be rich traders. |

juz to give risktaker some credit.. he did make accurate projections too.. he probably is juz updating us on what he currently knows.. his news may be late at times but i'll take it as time lag between getting the info, typing and posting it.. tt said, i did follow some of his calls without doing my research and made losses as well.. i only have myself to blame for that.. | ||||

then i think we are all been mislead by the newspaper we read everyday. 1) If they are eyeing on the next target to accumulate they will pressure it down so that they can collect at a cheaper rate.

I don't think his posting are deliberately misleading but rather more to create a certain aura about himself. You might notice that he somehow never makes mistakes - even when his predictions are wrong. If he is cheering a certain stock - saying that he is going to BUY ALL if it drops to a certain price - but if that stock actually drops even further than his target price - suddenly his next post is - "... Luckily I only bought a little bit .. heng ah"... All I can say is .... wow

Rosy piece of news,but the market is not taking it in its stride Economists tip Singapore for 5.5 pct growth: MAS Private-sector economists in Singapore have tipped an average 5.5 percent economic growth for the city-state in 2010, beating official forecasts of 3.0-5.0 percent, the central bank said Wednesday. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said its latest survey, involving 24 economists and analysts, also showed that construction, wholesale and retail, and financial services would be the leading sectors next year. Singapore in November declared the end of a severe recession after two successive quarters of gross domestic product (GDP) growth. For 2009, the MAS survey respondents predicted a GDP contraction of 2.0 percent, within the official estimate of 2.0-2.5 percent | ||||

Volatility seen here as trading patterns change - really unpredictable. DOW and HSI may have stayed up. SGX maintains weak since yesterday. Guess investors have mood swings as well. Good counters can long. Penny stocks and S-Chips should be avoided. Looking at XLX, alot of graves to be dug to replenish this fertiliser co. ( Similar patterns for other heavily traded S-Chip counters ). |
