This is pretty subjective to different people, markets and countries. In general, penny stocks are relatively low price, more speculative and higher risk stocks. In US, some people consider any stocks that are below US$5 to is penny stocks. Blue chips are nationally recognized, well established and financially strong companies, like DBS, SGX and SIA. Mid-Caps are any stocks in between. For me, I consider stocks that are below $1 in Singapore to be penny stocks. Any stocks above $1 and not a blue-chip is a mid-cap. You may have your own definition. Like I say, it defers from different people, markets and countries.

5 distribution days in less than 2 weeks is definitely a trend change in very near term. There might be a small rebound but its not for buying but for late selling. Newcomers do be very aware and dun get caught trading without a system and purely on "Huat Ah" attitudes !

Many HSI blue chips component stocks already shown signs of strong distribution forcing these counters to change their trend.Only a few others are propping up the HSI. Newcomers should be careful when trying to chase a very late rally in the making...Remember the 1000pts drop in HSI during the Dubal incident? THis time wil be much sharper than that...

Why No Confidence in STI? Why Not Sure of STI? Why Sell? STI index 3 year high is 3,248.75 and low is 1,549.87. Currently at 2,917.77 Fundamentally, Singapore market is pretty strong and active. Technically, STI has an Up-Trend chart. Many Blue Chips are either half-way or close to their pre-crisis price. Many Mid-Caps are half-way to their pre-crisis price. Penny stocks are just starting to run. I would buy more penny and mid-cap stocks this year. Accumlate Blue chips when there is a technical rebound. Just my 2 cents worth of opinion.

tell you where the next battle ground :) seeHS :P BB will try to crack 0.40 :P Their last quarter is 200% increase of revenue. This coming quarter even better :) after they buy in the petrol company in Hong Kong. Some news coming for SeeHS stay tuned

as said, market will oscillate between 2900 these few days as in a pause mode....no sign of correction or rally ride the wave till now....selected counters can be buy on dip due to momentum, capricon and lagged effect....good luck :) | ||||
