We need 2 hand in hand 2gether & dun let Sell Shorts Pple controling our present on hand's stocks' price. If we dun set buy / sell. They 4ever wun get it. Last nite I went wif my group of friends 2 Geylang there eat Laksa. When sm of my non-smoker's friends were still eating. We went 2 outside behind Coffee Shop there took a smoke. We saw a delivery man delivered a huge basket of half filled wif live crabs 2 a stall. Guess wat, tis huge basket below was broken wif a small hole. & tis small hole can actually allow these live crabs 2 escape 1 by 1. But these live crabs finally din.

Do u all noe y these live crabs din escape?

It's b'cos they stepped & climbed abv wif each other. Dat's y e reason they cnt escape...

We r in e huge basket & below has a small hole actually can allow us 2 escape. But y even human reacted like crabs stepped & climbed abv each other?

Btw, tis Laksa cost me $4.00/bowl. Taste so so only... & tis morning rtn all 2 my tiolet bowl liao... ('',)

I attended DBSV '2010 Singapore market outlook seminar' last Sat. According to them the correction everybody tot to happen in May has already started. China govn has initiated rate hikes and capital controls. It is their house view, you do your own judgements.

Trade with caution. Be nimble.

Shanghai down, first bank now steel

Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) – China’s stocks fell, sending the benchmark index to the lowest level since October, as growth in manufacturing heightened concerns the government will take additional measures to prevent the economy from overheating.

    Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., China’s biggest steelmaker, paced declines for commodity producers after the central bank deputy governor said the government plans to curb overcapacity in industries including steel. Jiangxi Copper Co. and Aluminum Corp. of  China Ltd. slid at least 2.7 percent. SAIC Motor Corp., China’s largest carmaker, declined 2.6 percent.

    “The market is very worried about the outlook for economic recovery, because more tightening measures are expected from the government and that will risk damping growth,” said Wu Kan, a Shanghai-based fund manager at Dazhong Insurance Co., which  manages about $285 million.

   The Shanghai Composite Index fell 45.86, or 1.5 percent, to 2,943.43 as of 9:59 a.m. local time, set for the lowest since Oct. 13. The CSI 300 Index, measuring exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen, declined 1.7 percent to 3,152.40.

    The Shanghai gauge dropped 4.5 percent last week, the most weekly in two months, amid concerns the government will limit loan growth and increase interest rates to slow the economy. It has dropped 9.9 percent this year, the seventh-worst performer  among the 94 benchmarks tracked globally by Bloomberg.

    The government plans new measures to rein in overcapacity in steel, cement and other industries amid a surge in bank lending, People’s Bank of China Deputy Governor Zhu Min said in an interview in Davos yesterday.

    Baoshan Steel lost 2.4 percent to 7.40 yuan. Hebei Iron & Steel Co., the listed unit of China’s second-biggest steelmaker, dropped 3.3 percent to 5.54 yuan. SAIC Motor Corp., China’s largest carmaker, retreated 2.6 percent to 19.60 yuan.
    Manufacturing Growth
    The Purchasing Managers’ Index fell more than economists forecast to a seasonally adjusted 55.8 in January from 56.6 in December, the Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said today in a statement. The gauge was pulled down by slower growth in  output and orders, while a measure of export demand increased. A number above 50 indicates an expansion.

    Jiangxi Copper, China’s biggest producer of the metal, dropped 3.1 percent to 33.03 yuan. Aluminum Corp. of China, the nation’s biggest maker of the lightweight metal and also called Chalco, lost 2.7 percent to 12.35 yuan.

    The London Metals Index, a measure of six metals including copper and aluminum, on Jan. 29 dropped 1.7 percent to the lowest since Nov. 27. It slumped 7.5 percent last week, the biggest since the period to Dec. 5, 2008. Crude oil for March delivery  fell 1 percent in New York.
