STI will take a breather near 2680 for the next few days after a big selloff from 2900 plus points...seems a lot of shares at weak support points now after big dip....not much juice for shortists next few days....good luck :)

we are the only one making the call in Sept. 2009 that STI will not touch 3000 in near term as compared to all (almost all) brokerages who are so bullish that they think 3000 is easily touchable.....please be discliplined but also do not be too panic as market will not move down in a straight line....still got lots of chance to make money (as seem from the rally from 29th Oct 2009 - 7 Jan 2010)....good luck :)

x 0 x 0	Repeat in more precise language: Market will not touch 3000 in near term....though some stocks will still rally due to its low valuation. STI will consolidate all the way down by breaking below support 2420 by next May 2010 all the way to 1800 (best buy for the next bull cycle in year 2013/2014)

I dont think STI will close red today... what happened earlier is just to shake the weak hands to continue the crawling up... about DOW, the candle stick last friday looks like a hammer but it didn't close near or on its high, instead it closed near on its opening so i can consider it more of a doji.. but with long tail.. whatever candle stick you may call it, its still a reversal candle. explaining this using market psychology, the bulls took over at the hour of the trading week last week.. so I can see the shift of momentum from bears to bulls. however, we need a confirmation today. a long white candle or a strong demand by the bulls are needed. If confirmed, we might see a possible reversal.

wow interesting. I tot the plunge protection team and JP Morgan blatantly manipulate the market last Friday by buying stock. The other explanation was short covering because short sellers were afraid that EU will come out statement on the weekend that just pass to bailaout Greece?
