We have read on the newspaper about housing agents being given blank cheques by interested buyers or speculators to queue at a new property launch last year. But to be told face on ... not until now or rather last weekend. With vested interest I attended a property outlook 2010 seminar to get a clearer picture of whats coming, whats in the pipeline in the next 11 mths. As it turned out they were promoting a soon to launch lease hold project called Estuary at the same seminar. But what struck me was the way they pushed the sales. Hear this ... If you choose NO VIEWING AT ALL at the launch but based the decision on the power pt project plan slide shown at the seminar, issue them a cheque will get you priority to your choice unit, or near choice as 3 agentcy were appointed for this launch. And guess what, they claimed that about 100 ppl have already done so ... huh! when the psf(price per sq foot) is still being worked out by the developer. Amazing!! Obviously unlike SM, property seems still pretty hot with the projected 6.5 mil population as an enticing bait. But when it moves towards the brink of a circus, it is best to stay away. |

Despite any bad news, I keep buying since last Tuesday 9th February 2010. Some paper profit I have accumulated so far. I predict a big rally for Asian market immediately after Chinese New Year, leading by Chinese stock market!!!

Just treat it as your baby lor! U still need to monitor it occasionally and trade if u see opportunity now and then. The key is to select the correct stocks and enter/exit when there's fear or bullishness in the market. Do not trade unnecessarily and for sure u can't get the lowest/highest price.

A lot of stocks are having their 1st Bull today. A good sign, but this is only a test for Bull, not a confirmation that we are bottoming and moving up. Let's hope that the 2nd Bull appears soon, that would be a very good sign. |

What's the definition of LT, u mean despite the mkt go down, u will continue to hold onto your shares and when mkt is up, you will not sell them in short term to make profits? Is that call LT or buy and hold strategy? You buy your stocks today, shut down your com and login to your trading website 5 years later?

Yes, discipline is so very important in stock trading. A timely reminder yet again in this correction. Good money has been made last year. This year is a traders year. Volatile and adrenalin charge. Exciting, yes, but certainly not for the weak-hearted. For those who think 2009 rally was a bear trap and missed the boat, pls continue to hold the thought as the real one could be unfolding ... this time

Mixed comments was given all this while...some analyst say will go all the way down but some are taking this as an opportunity .... blur liao...mkt no direction.... I still remember during the crash before the 2009 rally....cheap analyst say buy, cheaper buy somemore, cheapest with discount BUY....when rally, dont buy correction coming, further up, dont buy, correction closer, sky high, sell, correction at the door step, but fail ed to knock on the door. Investing in stock is about your SELF view of the market. If base on your view you lose, then nothing to say. But lose listerning to other is the biggest regret....trust yourself lah..... |
