Really like this counter, so nice downtrend all the way. Short again during yesterday's rebound, never expect this time don't need to "hit-and-run", everything close so low. So will continue to hold until downtrend stops. This morning break $1.68 I sense don't need to cover today. After STI breaks 2666, confirm to "let the profit run"!

Now dividend not much help already, STI break the strong support of 2812 and 1 day drop to next support of 2775. If this breaks tomorrow, all will plunge together. Any rebound is the time to short or sell if still haven't get out. Most counters are damaged especially from today. Don't listen too much to analyst, today papers recommend buy for HL Asia and look what happens? I feel more reliable are the charts, they never lie.

Are you referring to short or long? I think both are rather bearish, Ezra has a very nice downtrend since breakdown around $2.47 till now but selling seems to ease off a bit. As for Straits Asia, eversince breakdown at $2.30, it's downtrend has not ended, today even close low. If tomorrow can't hold at $1.90 then another round of downtrend will resume. It may even speed up as bolinger band is tightening now.

Personally, I won't Buy either of them, but if you want to compare. Ezra is better choice to me. Ezra business is related to Oil & Gas, whereas Straits Asia to Coal. Both businesses rely on natural resources, which will deplete overtime. However, Oil & Gas is a much bigger, higher demand and longer lasting industry compare to Coal. So, I feel Ezra has a better future than Straits Asia. Also from Financial standpoint, Ezra has better a Cash Flow position than Straits Asia, which to me is important. Please note these are my personal opinion only. Buy at your own risk.

Ezra vs straits asia... from short term chart standpoint 13/26 SMA downtrend, Ezra more bearish than St Asia... I am shorting now, rather than long.... As dealer0168 said, ezra's next significant support is around 1.64... If you want to long, wait and see if 1.64 holds... if holds, you can long, if break... then I will be richer.... :) |
