Stop justifying why your mistake is correct. You are still young and have much tuition fee to pay. 1. Stock price can falls below its Asset Per Share and can even fall to zero when it's suspended. 2. When a company is awarded a contract, it does not mean the share price is going to rise. 3. Whether the price is low or not, is not justify by you, it's justify by the market. 4. PE Ratio does not mean anything when the market is in rally or panic selling. 5. Any company that is related to China Railway will be affected. 6. Profit is in Yuan and Dividend is paid in SGD. With such strong SGD, you are at a disadvantage. 7. Analysis Reports are wrong most of the time. 8. MIDAS never was and never would be a long-term stock. 9. The US Debt Crisis does not solve anything. There are more serious crisis coming. 10. Unless it's an IR, not paying dividend is a big issue. Don't kid yourself by saying they use it for expansion. MIDAS is a China Company, not Singapore's. 11. MIDAS has been falling since Apr 2010, if it's a good company, would be $2.00 now and not $0.540. 12. MIDAS is a down trending stock and it would continue to trend downwards. I suggest you take the next surge as an opportunity to sell and get out.

Dear Stock Buyers Midas is a long term stock.Just some of my theoretical points here using my assumptions and to the best of my knowledge The US debt crisis is currently weighing down on almost the world markets.This cant be helped.Also if stocks drop further .Speculators that leverage will be force sell their shares.This leads to lower and lower stock price due to leveraging.As it goes lower.More people cant afford to pay.But i believe that since midas has relatively fallen 50 % and more from its last year price factoring no bad news for its financial results.The bad news have been overpriced in an exaggerated factor. August 12 will be the financial results. Though i have a guess here.Which is in March they didnt announce an interim divided to be dividend payable.As far as i know in my commercial law knowledge. One may only announce a dividend for a period when there is profits in that period.Either they may have profit there or no.But regardless i would assume that they didnt announce the dividend as they need it for their factory expansion.lets hope railway picks up. After every disaster the economy would normally brush up.just like world war 1 and 2.Lots of rebuilding and improvement based on historical effects Appreciated you guys reading this Thanks |

Market will still be very weak. Euro now showing further red ink all over and likely DOW will too. But am still collecting Midas. China is the new world. China will be biggest economy in the world before you even know it. And trains are a big part of China travel. Please remember, it's a huge country with 1.3 billion people. If not train than what ? Drive ? Walk ?
