haha say who haha old lady very valuable one ok. dun spend much one bowl of noodles eat two meals. den can help look after children somemore haha young gals ask u to buy alot of stuff n nothing in return ok haha. but yeah warrent too risky.

Lucky you play small... If you play 1m in a bear market and lose 0.5m in a big downtrend, you also will be considered "pok!"... because of the real feeling of "pok!"... hehehe...  |

over time the warrant will depreciate ..especially when it nears the expiry date.. (just like women over the age of 30 ..haha.. joking only ..)

You play with spare money, so why you feeling 'sian' at all? Better be thankful you are not losing in this big bad bear downtrend... Unless you are a busy businessman who is armoured to be imune to big bear markets... And your holdings are rock solid and bear-proof... hehehe... |

haha with someone like me i willmost likely forget the warrent n den end up having to eat them up. forget it.....genting rouellet table more chance. plus Boy Boy do u think this downtrend will end anytime soon??getting very sian liao since auntie dun play short(no talent ) |

At least when you play with cleverly with warrants, you will never go "pok!"... You just throw away the rotten lemon... But if you have a basket too full of rotten lemons, you also go "pok!"... And have to eat those lemons... |

Haha, sometimes I really do wonder how with the limited time tat I have (running a busy biz), tat my gains from SM crossed 1 mil mark last year ... You guys are really pro compare to me. I am just having a bit of fun ... Cheers to all the multimils galore here ... Cheers to Alex for answering.

Alex will make a good 'sifu' or mentor ... I would recommend Kelly to follow his posts, and also ask him for guidance... I cannot be a sifu in the true sense of the word... Because my instructions are very broad (mainly strategic)... and then mostly with a philosophical or satirical bent... Which are not widely appreciated by the 'market'...

STI 2850BNPePW100729 above is an example of a put warrant denoted by "PW" "100729" is the expiry BNP is the issuing bank for the warrant..the one who sets the price and manipulates it so that they can make money out of the retailers.. anyway..back to ur qn.. PW is a derivative (READ HIGH ADRENALIN GAMBLING) where if u are bearish of in thie case STI index u can buy the put warrant and if STI plunges to the depths of hell..ur put warrant becomes a blue chip like uob or dbs $20... of cors if sti chiong to 10,000 like dow then u lose $$$$$$$$ big time.. suggest don't touch if ya 1st time playing ...

I would target Capitamall instead of Capitaland. Capitaland has too much questionable REITs in their portfolio. Many I don't know will make money or not in the near future. Capitamall focuses mainly in Singapore. With the 2 IRs, Thailand's crisis and China's Property curbs, I seeing Singapore Retails doing very well this year. Capitamall is my choice. Just my opinion.
