ASIA'S economic growth could suffer in the next few quarters as exports to the West slow sharply due to sovereign-debt troubles in Europe and a lacklustre recovery in the US, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) analysts warned yesterday. There are more than 5000 brokers. In UOBK alone, already have 1000s of remisiers. All going for the small piece of cake. Difficult to "tan jia."

Less than 380 Millions shares valued at < $430 Million divided by say 5000 remisiers, an average income of less than $25 per broker upto now today. Not enough for MRT fares and makan. Die standing liao. Something must be done!! | ||||

I read that market downtrend still intact. With such boring trading vol, traders will stay away mostly for the next few wks at least. However, should prices of some solid counters like Sci, Fnn, KepLd, UOL, CapLd, Kep, SPH, SingTel, FCT.... falls to attactive levels, accumulation is recommended. Any comments or ideas to add? | ||||

This really depends on how STI ends today and how much volume is traded. So far, we don't know either one of them. I'll stay on the side line and watch how things turn up. Dow did ends up with a Bull last night, but it was a pretty weak Bull.

STI is opposite of DOW for past 2 days now. Yesterday, STI opened up when DOW closed down. Today, STI opened down when DOW closed up. Hehehe. Better stay on the sideline and enjoy world cup. |

KNN. Didn't notice the charts, but this morning found that most of the top vol counters are in the down trending face, with the exception of Genting and Rowsley being in the uptrending face. Newbies should note that the market is generally in the downtrend. Should they short or should they long? If short, I think too late already to short. If long, be choosy. Choosy can mean sideline, first, or get some of those who droped more than you expected. For consideration and due diligence. |
