Bull territory ? Give us a time frame and a price target when you say "Bull" next time because it doesn't make sense to say that without milestones to work with. Anyone can say that easily...

This is not true. This time round, STI is the 1st to Run. STI is already in the Bull Territory, followed closely by China, then Europe and lastly US. Hang Seng is the last to turn.

No. STI is the 1st man to cross 200 MA. The rest of the world will follow. I don't know you guys have notice. Recently, Singapore reputation is getting pretty high in US and Europe. I think it's because US and Europe want to do Business in China, but they don't trust the Chinese Government. So they are using Singapore as a stepping stone to enter and monitor China. Thus they bring up Singapore reputation. Of course some may argue Hong Kong is a better stepping stone. But before the financial crisis, when I visited US, not much people knows much about Singapore and where we are. Nobody ever recommend US public to Buy SGD. Today, more US financial analysts know about Singapore and some even recommend SGD as a hedge against USD. Funny as how things can change so fast.

STI index has gain strongly though the trading volume has slightly decreases as the market calms down. Important points to note 1) In weekly charts, a white candle stick with no upper shadow shown that investors expected good earning reports in the weeks ahead. 2) The trading volume drop slightly as the market began to calm down from fear. 3) MACD and RSI indicators are starting bullish with MACD line about to perform a “golden cross” in weekly charts. 4) STI is currently supported by 20 weeks MA and technical support at 2900 5) It is clear that STI has broken out of the 2900 resistance with strong volume and thus more potential upside will be expected in the coming weeks. 6) Keep a lookout for the next major resistance at 2943 as STI will be expected to re-test new highs if the resistance is breached. . Important resistance of STI: 2943 (Daily charts) Immediate Support of STI: 2900 (Daily charts) MY tactics: Investors are expecting the market continue to climb higher with the support from good earnings report, therefore we would encourage buying stocks with good fundamentals BUT prepared to SELL ON NEWS depending on the situations CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE POST |

Agree. Victor makes his calls before it happens and so far he is correct unlike others who have an agenda in their calls. I like those posts that give the reasons why they say what they say, whether they turn out right or wrong. After all one cannot make the right calls all the time. And for every bull call we can easily find a bear call if we trawl the net. I find some of the forerunners posts like Livermore, Andrew, Alexchia01, Richman(on Midas), etc very useful and constructive.

Hihi, i don't mean to rebuke at you or anything. But there is something perharps i would like to share with you or some of the people down here in this forum has mentioned before. I have feeds from my broker and they have those fanciful awards being awarded to them in god knows what category every year giving those buy and sells calls. And frankly speaking, i suppose many here can vouch as well that more often than not, they're wrong. And when they're wrong i never hear them mentioning about it, but when they're right they go "TADA I TOLD YOU SO". No joke, you might think it's human nature. And yes, my broker or the analst at the brokerage houses are humans. I wonder if the stock market would be any different with or without their advises, calls etc. The only purpose that they are for other done conducting the transaction is to perharps induce excitement to the stock market. Hehe. Hope you manage to see what I'm trying to put across, not in anyway trying to put you down. Cheers pal!

Yes, this is the point of it all... And one must understand that even if an 'insider' is making buy/sell calls, He must be prepared to honour the "pao jiak" (durian guaruantee)... Furthermore, this is the first time I come across such 100% certainty in this forum, or any forum. Usually, all forummers would say "this is not a buy/sell call"... Or they will always say "caveat emptor", but this forummer is 100%nsure of his call!... And this is the point... |

I have absolutely nothing against anyone giving market calls, be it right or wrong.
As long as one has done his due dillgence nothing can bring him down.
It's only when does who follows blindly and get hurt by it as a result, those i feel for them.
Invest in ownself as it always pay dividends over the long run.
And we can never make the everyone happy can we?
If we could, there wouldn't be republicans and democrats :)

Agree.
Mocking at the calls of others, especially when they are temporarily correct, only shows one's pettiness and jealousy.
Empty vessels make the most noise.

In the final analysis, the bottom line is this:-
Victorf is better than George Soros+Warren Buffet+Mark Mobius+Robert Precthter+Kongee...
All combined =Victorf...
With his 100% sureness, he is sure to have a huge following in no time!
It is as good as a guarantee (in durian, it's called "pao jiak")
hehehe...
