Though we are NEUTRAL on market, it is time for the market to rebound for the next few days...the good feel of Genting and economy recovery will help....however, we do not need to be too bullish or too bearsih as the market is writing the script and will be done by next week.....good luck :) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

STI made 2 Gap Downs in the last 2 days. This means that STI would most likely cover these Gaps in the next few trading days. This is a opportunity for people who wants to get out of the market, to do so. Sell your long positions, take whatever profits you have and cut all your losses. Because after the Gap is filled, STI would take another nose dive and this dive can be deep. I'm expecting STI to fall around 2660 or lower before hitting the bottom. This is my personal analysis. Singapore penny stocks in demand as players turn to low-priced issues for quick punt, avoid bigger-cap shares amid caution in broad market, according to Dow Jones. FTSE ST Catalyst Index +4.1% midday vs STI off 0.9% at 2,921.43. Immediate support for benchmark at 2,900. “The ‘risk off’ scenario seems to be unfolding faster and sharper than we anticipated,” says Phillip Securities; “from a fundamental perspective, out of precaution to brewing macro risks, we go back to a cautious-defensive stance for the S&P 500 and STI in the short-medium term.” Overall market volume almost similar to whole of yesterday’s 1.67 billion shares, but value sharply lower as penny plays, small caps dominate trade. Most active plays include Equation (532.SG), +16.7% at $0.07, Enzer (545.SG), off 2.5% at $0.195, Carriernet Global (5BI.SG), +100.0% at $0.02, Map Technology (CU7.SG), +9.1% at $0.06. |

I buy today Tech oil & gas, its dividend for 9 months is Sgd. 0.105/share so about 13.1% yield at the price of Sgd. 0.80. It is worth buying!

i still believe market are in for a possible major correction in the next 2-3 mths. the ABN guy who predict STI3300 pts is too optimistic. i am now sure what assumption he believe will drive the market up. As far as i know from my customer( manufacturing), demand from USA is in for a slowdown come 3Q and 4Q. just my personal view. |
