On Thursday, Genting re-test the all time high resistance at $1.58 and closed at $1.53 with LOW volume of 81.3 million shares traded.

An engulfing bearish line occurred (where a black candle’s real body completely contains the previous white candle’s real body).  The engulfing bearish pattern is bearish during an uptrend. It signifies that the momentum may be shifting from the bulls to the bears.

Both RSI & MACD are turning bearish as RSI trend downwards in the “overbought region”

Important Resistance of Genting: $1.58

Immediate Support of Genting: $1.50

Currently prices are way above the 20 / 50/100/200 days MA.

We would not suggest buying Genting now since prices has gone way too high.

In fact, we encourage taking profit once prices breached the important support at $1.50 with high volume.

Thanks, but I am afraid not very much is explained leh.

I have explained how I "speculated" that the "uptrend is intact", but it can certainly move the opposite direction, hence the need for cut loss.

Please help me to understand "At 9.10 KeppelCorp had already broken down the support".

Can you please explain to me how you get the $9.10 support?

I bought because the trendline joining the lows of 28 OCT '08, 4 Mar '09 & early JULY '10 has not been broken, meaning that the uptrend is intact.

:)

At 9.10 KeppelCorp had already broken down the support... Thus there's really no point in buying just because it seems cheaper... Because when a downtrend is imminent, cheap can be expensive. Rather, once the support is broken is is wiser to be selling than buying. since trend is all that matters in stocks.
