STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index began to trend along the soft support of 2915 as the selling eased.

Important points to note

1) In weekly charts, a white candle sticks with short upper/lower shadow shown the hesitant of the investors as prices travelled along the tight consolidating channel.

2) The weekly trading volume decreases since the selling pressure has eased.

3) MACD and RSI indicators are neutral as MACD lines are closely tie together.

4) STI is currently sustained by minor technical support at 2915

5) We would see STI 2900 as a very strong support as technical/20 weeks MA & 50/100 days MA is near that level.

Important resistance of STI: 2950 (Daily charts)

Immediate Support of STI: 2915 (Daily charts)

MY tactics: STI currently resting at soft support of 2915 while resisted by STI 2950. In simplified term –> Prices on support but no strength to climb higher. We would only encourage to buy “small portion” if interested since market situation still uncertain. In additional, do look out for the major support at 1070 of S&P 500 as well.

     about 'green shoots' shooting out everywhere?

            And that was followed by a meaty downtrend ...

                   Thus, the media is a good guide for investing and trading activities... Smiley

Today Hangseng has dropped -90.64 pts.

So Dow Jones tonite wun expect 2 drop much especially today's Fri. So we est. fm -40 to -70 pts. If Dow Jones has again dropped -150 pts tonite. Means healthy corrections r cming.
