STI appears to be not following very closely to DOW nowadays, unlike the past years. Maybe US has lose its influence a little or STI has grown up more mature.  US Feb Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke yesterday and DOW rose up 164 to close 10150. Will STI shoot up 1.65% come Monday?

Look at the top volume counters past weeks, 95% are penny stocks.  Most people are not so keen on STI blue chips component stocks recently. Some even let go blue chips (down) and buy penny stocks (up). This appears to be the trend for quite a while which will drag the STI....not so good for market sentiments and for people who play penny, and risky for ALL. Stay alert and Good luck.

tankuku, u shld look at the economic calendar and not 'should' here 'should' there unless ur name starts with B (Bernanke, Buffet), didnt u know Bernanke is going to give speech on Friday? sure green green one lar..cos he is going to print more green green notes..thats what he is good in doing..QE!

This what he said last night lor..

Cross your finger, STI will drop below the support level of 2600 by next week.
