For information the shorting at 90 cents was made several years back, when the price was chased up. So it was long time ago.

This counter is worth a look. Honestly I want to take a good bet here, but have to reconsider it properly. Many rich investors have put money in this counter, but so far they have not played it or maybe they did but not successful in moving up the price. I noted last year from a friend who sold short on borrowed shares 10 lots around 90 cents and still have not bought back. Could have bought back already by now, but if he has not covered, he would have made quite a handsome amount. The last report of making profits from a subsidiary acquired recently, did not actually help move up price. So that makes me hesitate to invest in the counter unless the next reporting turns out encouraging. MHO & M2C. |

Financials turning back into black. Read the announcement here and the financial report here. " Based on the unaudited financial statements of the Group for Q3 FY2013, the Group recorded a HK$6.6 million net profit attributable to shareholders, compared to a net loss of HK$5.1 million in Q3 FY2012. The revenue of the Group in Q3 FY2013 is HK$21.4 million, which is mainly from the operations of Nutryfarm (Chengdu) Biomedicine Limited (“NFC”), a subsidiary which is indirectly held by the Company, as compared with HK$0.4 million revenue of the Group in Q3 FY2012. The increase of the net profit of the Group amounting to HK$11.7 million in Q3 FY2013 as compared to Q3 FY2012 was mainly due to the combined effect of (i) HK$11.2 million increase from sales of nutrition and health food (ii) HK$3.0 million other income from disposal of receivable from Powerway Group Limited in Q3 FY2013, which has been fully impaired in FY2012 (iii) HK$3.4 million tax refund received by NFC in Q3 FY2013 and iv) HK$2.0 million company income tax of NFC in Q3 FY2013." |

Whenever there is profit, don't regret. But I believe those shareholders who did not give up hope can now really see a silver lining in the clouds of Lottvision on a promising path of recovery. After several years of dumping after pumping by Arabs (guessing only), beyond $1.20 (maybe higher, since long time happened liao) I notice this share is quickly coming back alive from near clinical death, hahaha. Ironically it took over a " biomedicine" company. There is good profits contributed from its acquisition company and this is a good sign. This is likely going to be one of the best pennies beside Hankore that I am watching...Good luck..

Agree. I was looking at the time & sale and realised that when someone sell down. Some one else will buy up.really give up on this . When everybody else rocketed , this fellow stay rooted ......... haiz. Any gurus know what happen to this stock? Any insight? |

Hello, this year is going to be a historic year in gambling for Singapore, don't forget. So loottery companies will do well. Lottery companies depend on people gambling with them to make money and people want to gamble when market is no good (Hope to have windfall) as well as when the market is good. Frankly no harm placing out 164 million share at $0.0403 per share since the half of the cash are to be used for business capital. Furthermore the "placee" the people (I don't know if they are insiders) must undertake to keep the shares for 6 months. That means lock up the money they bought the shares for. One curious thing is that why now when everyone can see that the market is going up? I believe it is a plan to make quick money when you enter now since in 6 month's time who knows Lotvision might be $1.00 per share. Cheers.
