Need Advice.. The takeover price is 0.245.. So... how cum within these few months.. tis counter will not shoot abv tis rate? I thot if de price go beyond tis rate.. proves BT had made de rite choice wat? if this goes below...say 0.2.. isn't it bang balls for BT since they got to pay more by contract? I m still wondering whether will tis counter b able to shoot beyond 0.245. |

Hi tiandi.. yes.. de dividend is pretty small.. but look from tis perspective... vested in 100 lots on 7 dec @ 0.24. hold till 11th dec and discharge at 0.245. profit margin is 332.62. on top of tis.. 28th dec.. you will recd XD payout of 480.. all in all.. 812.62. to me.. tis is sufficient.. me not veri greedy lah.. my assumption is based on wat alligator had feedback. |

Hi Alligator, Tks for the advice.. tat perhaps explained Y today havin such a high volume brought even at 0.24 rates.. guess less than few days could earn XD and starts dischargin on 11 or 12. |

huatah, the most important date you need to know is EX-Date which is:11 Dec 2007 If you want to collect Dividend you must HOLD upto 10 Dec. |

One advice needed.. XD payout on 28th Dec. Book closure on 13th Dec. Thus... does it means that we need to hold on till 28th Dec or as long as we hold it till 13th Dec and can start selling off on 14th still entitle the XD that payout on 28th Dec? |

If you've nowhere to go, then it is fine to wait till XD. Dividend is only 0.0048c....100 lots only pay $480... not that great isn't it? I'm sure you could get better deal elsewhere! Cheers! | ||||

More accumulating. Yeah my decision is the same as the rest here. Hold the counter till XD and see what happen, will only sell at 0.245 at least. |

Hi Cashiertan, in my opinion, I agree with ilovebull - prices will be suppressed within .245 till take over completed, which is months later. Thus, for better investment, like wat ten4one highlighted, ppl might turn to other counters. For me, i will wait for CD and decide on Jan. As tis counter for me falls under long term investment mah.. could b different from many others. Cheers... |

Hi ilovebull, your Broker was quite rite that BT will not accumulate FL above their offer px (unless a corporate raider comes into play....hehe). To sell or not to sell would depend on you - some would want to maximize their capital usage by switching to other counter. Just my point of view. Cheers! | ||||

I spoke to my broker today. He advised me not to sell first - to wait for the ex-d first then observe for a few days. Can sell at 24 or 24.5 max. He said that the company going to take over Frontline will be accumulating and they will never buy above the take over offer price of 24.5 cents. Just for sharing please. | ||||

i friendly disagree with ten4one statement, in fact frontline's BB's did a bad job accumulating their shares. the TA chart was very obvious there is bullish accumulation and divergence, so obvious till like text book. the reason i dun wanna enter is becoz timing wasnt right to confirm a positive breakout. 2nd, i dun want to take higher risk and lost coz this is a slow penny of penny stock, not my cup of tea for risk and abit slow moving to my liking. maybe the staff of frontline accumulate too obvious liao the BB's wanna hide also difficult. a good and silent accumulation from high profile stocks is like jade and ei-nets. was basciaclly flat till the BB's think accumulated enough and leak news for retailers to push up the stocks for them. |
