thank you! I have some problem finding when is the date of share consolidation. If you or anyone familiar, can you provide me info regarding the share movement: 1. Breakout from 20cents in Oct to 45cents in Oct 2. Breakout or share consolidation from 50cents to 90cents in Jan. The breakout from 20cents to 45cents is just price movement and not share consolidation whereas the move from 50cents to 90cents is share consolidation. Correct? |

If you trace backwards in this thread, you will find that there was a "5 shares into 1" consolidation... |

Can anyone enlighten me about Hiap Hoe. It went from 18cents in 9 Jan 07 to 85cents in 23 Jan 07. Is this accurate or it is a stock split and if so, what is the reason for the jump? Appreciate it. |

Up 3c this morning to 1.03. Buying vol at 1.01 with over 100 lots and selling with over 100 at 1.05. Accumulation at this price range for today. |

Finally...... a big move today. 8c up to $1. almost 20c move in 5 trading days. Looks like new development launches are eminent hence the movement in the prices beforehand. 11.1m traded since Aug 7 from 99c to 80c low. Lots of accumulation in the last 30 trading days. I expect this big push to be extremey fierce as lots of stale bulls would have been weeded out....67m done above $1 from June to August. |

hi shplayer, thanks alot for the analysis. i'm also wondering why the management did not explain in more details how losses are incurred. i'm concerned that the management is not honest (also lacked of explanation on use of share placement funds). also, the way hh price had earlier fluctuated also might also showed that it's very manipulated. i tried doing some culculation and reading just now, conclusion was that hh was inferior to chip eng seng in terms of profits and prospects. if chip eng seng (though double the float) is targetted to be at 80c, was afraid that hh may not be worthed that much. |

fruitty, P&L should not be affected so...i.e eps will not be affected. P/E ratio should remain However, P/B (Price/Book) will increase from current 2.51 X to 4.55 X (based on today's close of 86 cts). Essentially, it means that the asset backing on it price will be reduced. ROE will be stronger after the cap reduction. In my opinion, I think the share price may initially face some downward pressure to adjust the change to the P/B. But, as long as the business and eps remains strong, the share price will reflect the business fundementals. Just my opinion.....not vested. |

Hiap Hoe's results got featured in the latest Edge. They did very well. 1st half rev $55m with net profit of $8m. No booking of $150m worth of sales from the last 3 condos.... Slated to launch the 4 other developments from the 4th quarter onwards. They are timing their lauches to ensure they have a 2-3yr visibility of huge earnings growth. Talks about foreign investors courting them to invest in HH or do JVs. When the dusts settles........ I expect HH to rerate and cheong like how CES and Soilbuilt did in the last 3 mths. |
