technically it looks credible at $0.62 price breaking back upwards...however it is inching too slowly and the day range is minimal...if only there's a bigger range and the volume higher..this counter would be good to trade | |||

Since you find it is so low, just buy la, why wait further, no one will know, unless you can tell fortune ! Buy lah, it is at its low already. I buy some at S$0.68, now it drop further, so I wait for it to rebound. No one can tell when is the rock bottom. Good Luck. | |||

From OCBC Reasearch Pacific Andes Holdings: Growth is still on track Summary: Pacific Andes Holdings (PAH) posted a strong set of 1QFY08 results. Revenue rose 43% YoY to HK$2,138m, while net profit surged 43% YoY to HK$96.8m. Its subsidiary China Fishery Group (CFG) saw a strong 233% YoY jump in 2QFY07 revenue to US$110.5m, while net profit climbed 77% YoY to US$20.2m. For CFG, the improvement came from two new Vessel Operating Agreements (VOAs) which came into effect from early 2007. Strong demand from China will continue to underpin growth for the group, which accounted for 78% of group revenue in 1Q08. Management is still on the lookout for more acquisitions, essentially more VOAs or other complementary businesses to grow its operations. Recent acquisitions have proven to be earnings accretive. Despite recent market volatility, we believe that demand for fish products will remain strong in China. In addition, since 2001, PAH has been delivering strong double-digit earnings growth, with growth rates of 50%-71% in the last 3 years. As the 1Q results are fairly in line with our expectations, we are maintaining our FY08 estimates. We are also retaining our BUY rating and our fair value estimate of 96.5 cents. (Carmen Lee) |
