....the whole market is weak therefore affected Genting SP. No matter how good was theQ4 result...this counter is still pull down by the current market situation. however, for long term with holding power investor...~S$1.90 still consider good deal...I think STI will go further down below 2950 on next week... |

Sti rebound from around 2960... if it don't go above around 3060... Most likely it will be down... And Genting may be down too...

DJ MARKET TALK: HSBC Raises Genting Singapore To Neutral Ups Target

0827 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: HSBC upgrades Genting Singapore (G13.SG) to Neutral from Underweight and raises its target price to S$2.16 from S$1.95. The house notes the gaming stock should benefit as a defensive stock in an uncertain, inflationary environment. " We are positive on Singapore...while we see significant evidence of inflationary pressures across the consumer sector, we note that gaming companies face far less negative pressure than F& B-focused peers," HSBC says. My take is : High oil high gold happens - is time ppl will sell Gld and oil into strength , and go back to buy stocks that are beaten down at beaten down and cheap price. :)
