For those who are unable to attend the AGM on 28th of April. The main question thrown to the management are as follow : 1)When will the dividend be pay out 2)How will the junket operation affect Genting SP profitability. 3)What is the Cash flow Hedge means in the annual report 4)Revenue from gaming and non gaming sectors. 5) Competition from MBS According to Genting CEO, we can look forward for the dividends within this yr end or nxt yr but no exact date is given. For junket operations, they are still waiting for CRA to approve and once approved it will significantly reduce the credit risks hat Genting given to high rollers which means lower business risks.Tan Sri Lim further added that they will prefer their high rollers business to be as much as 90-95 % from junket operators as it will mean more predictable income rather than Genting itself to extend credit to the high rollers and risk defaulting. One of the shareholder point out to this Cash flow Hedge in the annual report and basically it is a interest rate hedge from rising interest rate as Genting own large amount of loans from banks. According to Tan Sri Lim , the ideal revenue from gaming and non gaming to be be 2/3 and 1/3 respectively.And if the non gaming revenue is larger than gaming revenue then something must be wrong and this is not the management want to see.From here,we can conclude Casino revenue will play a vital part in Genting SP growth. Genting SP is confident that it will be able to compete with its rivals and strive to be Asia's top destination. Quite alot of time is been waste by unnecessary questions from a shareholder and i think he is trying to boost his ego there by making sarcastic question to the board and management. Food wise, it comes with a lunch box (chicken chops/rice/vege),2 fish tuna sandwiches and a cup of assorted fruits and free parking for shareholders :) Overall , i will said this is a fruitful trip for me. |

I picture the following my self: There was a chunck of foreign funds came in about one month's time, that you see that all asian exchange rate is going up against USD. Now the foreign fund knows that the save haven is in Asia and BRICKS. 2.25 might be too high for them to buy and why not sell down now and pick up later. From 2.25 drop to 2.17 is only abt 3%, or drop to 2.00 as 8% drops - maket will reads as correction, and start to collect. So when it move up again later most proberly next week or two (b4 1Q results) say ... 2.35 they will hit their target of 10%. or even more. why sell now ??? what say you ???

Genting SP triggered a bearish engulfing candlestick pattern and experience a massive selldown. However, in spite of that, the uptrend of Genting is still intact. On Tuesday, Genting SP broke the resistance at $2.23 and closed at $2.24 with LOW volume of 61.42 million shares traded. Three white candles occurred in the last three days.
