SGD0.8888 means FA,FA,FA&FA, a typical Number all Chinese of all nationality like. The announcement made on 10-10-10 is another auspicious sign as all marriages on this date is blessed,be it b/w couples or companies. All these hints are clearly pointing to Chinese behaviour and hence no surprice Autumn Eagle turn out to be a Chinese pte equity fund. ITs intention is clearand good for us. Now BIG has a stong majortiy holder call AE who will serve as our protector from hostile take over by some large Pharm who may offer us a lousy cheap price in his bid. Now AE can comfortably fight off( just like the fight of Fortis and Kazana for Parkway) any ridiculous low price hostile bid......so small holders like us are safer. Following are likely positive catalyst for BIG:- 1. internal action.... within BIG 50% JWMS 2. Hongkong 2nd Listing of BIG 3. Terumo M&A or milestone or profit-sharing from stent sales. 4. Take over of other China or European stent company eg. Cardiomind 5. Approval of stent sales in Japan and /or China. Both are huge markets and hence big profit. 6. M&A by other big pharms I believe good News flow will come in Nov 10 together with its last Quarter result announcement. My stragtegy is to hold the stock and wait for these good news to elevate the stock value. If Dow index can hold steady ( predicted dow 12000 by yr end) ,BIG will be a very rewarding stock so long as there is no world stock market shock.. |

Just go to the price chart and see in that year. U can take a rough guess for the price at that season. I am sure its much more than that now.

Hi all, I have 5 lots of Biosensors since 2005. I feel like selling them off soon. But I forgot the price that I entered in. Is there anyway I can find out? I have an onlie trading POEMS acccount... Hope someone can help. Thanks. Cheers, Jack |

Be patient, as you know, Eagle is a predatory bird and in my opinion, he repesents a new image of BIG who is readied to set sight on potential prey and exploiting maximun gain for his shareholder. Wait for this coming Nov when its last Quarter result will be announced together with possible good News. I am all geared up for that fateful date. B/W...... our HK counterpart Mircroport is now stabilising at about SGD$ 1.35-1.40. This is the closest price comparision I can get so far.

Did a search on google and got the following facts:- Amount of consideration ( excluding brokerage and stamp duties) per share paid is SGD$ 0.8888 No. of share acquired is 319,312,200 or 29.47% of total share issued. Autumn Eagle Ltd become the Single Biggest Share holder after buying from 7 BIG Vendors. With this very substantial Single share holding. it is poised to either launch a hostile take over bid for BIG ( need 30%) or can position itself to influence the market with its Massive holding..BIG has been unable to get a majority shareholder in the past and now we have one formed on 10.10.10( On a well chosen auspicious date). October month is into Autumn season when old leaves start to fall and by spring next year new lively leaves will grow and shine and on its stronger tree branches the Eagle will rest. Lets hope this new Autumn Eagle can reward all of us die-hard loyalist with what we shall rightly deserve. Cheers.......the Eagle.

0054 GMT [Dow Jones] Biosensors (B20.SG) may gain on hopes heart-stent maker could receive takeover offer after Autumn Eagle discloses it''s buying 29.47% stake in company. According to SGX filing, Autumn Eagle has entered into agreements with 7 vendors to acquire their stakes, amounting to total of 319.3 million shares. Move brings interest just below 30%, level at which it would have to launch general offer for rest of company under Singapore takeover laws. Overall amount that it''s paying for 29.47% stake not disclosed. Details of Autumn Eagle, its plans for Biosensors also not revealed. Biosensors unable to provide details when contacted.
