Noble falls on bigger volume than yesterday, which means the bear is stronger today and a high chance of falling in the next few days. However, because it just broken above it's downtrend channel, so the current support is at $2.10. It price falls below $2.10, you should continue to hold your short position. If price breaks above $2.17 on huge volume, you should cover your shorts. Just my view. Good luck.

Looking at today's STI movement and volume, STI should continue to move upwards. Just my view. Good luck.

STI has great room to travel northwards : (as of today) STI P/E (based on 3053 : 10.7058) Nikkei P/E (based on 9478 : 17.1728) Hang Seng P/E (based on 23020: 12.6682) Dow Jones P/E (based on 12220 : 14.0675) FTSE P/E (based on 5900: 14.4766) DAX P/E (based on 6946: 12.6569) Looking at the above STI has the greatest potential to rise to P/E say 14, which is in line with the other major indices.  It means that when P/E is 14, STI will be around 4000.  As what Dennis Ng of www.masteryourfinanince. com stated optimistically in Sunday Times yesterday, STI has potential to breach 3900 and hit all time high.  Good luck to all STI investors: you are on right track. |

26-03-2011 01:58:27 DEALS-Private equity investment off to steady start in Asia By Stephen Aldred * China, India attract private equity * Global buyout funds still dominate large deals in Asia * Competition for deals pushing up some valuations    HONG KONG, March 25 (Reuters) - Private equity deals in Asia got off to a steady start in 2011, as buyout funds provided capital to companies in rapidly growing China and India, and some analysts say competition is pushing up valuation in some Asian countries. Asia has traditionally been a growth market for PE funds, but increasingly, buyout funds are settling for minority stakes in listed and unlisted companies in an effort to deploy an estimated $73 billion of untapped funds in Asia, according to Thomson Reuters estimates. Private equity investments in Asia totaled $2.6 billion in the first quarter of 2011, with China accounting for 34 percent, followed India with 26 percent, according to Thomson Reuters data. " India is one area where deals are very fully priced these days," said Bruno Roy, managing partner at McKinsey & Co in Beijing. " China to some degree as well. So you've got to find transactions and companies that have a bit of hair on them -- things that you need to fix." Global buyout funds dominated the high profile deals. Bain Capital LLC and Singapore's GIC paid around $800 million for a 26% stake in India's Hero Honda Motors Ltd teeth53 thot--STI is post for further gain, this coming  wk, in d aftermath of Japan worst earthquake.
