SINGAPORE, July 12 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse has cut its target price for Singapore Exchange (SGX) STATEMENT: SGX's performance in the near term is closely linked to current volumes for equity and derivative markets, which have weakened recently and represent downside risks to the exchange's earnings and ratings, Credit Suisse said. It has also cut its earnings per share estimate for SGX in fiscal 2011 by 13 percent and by 26 percent for the following year. However, Credit Suisse noted that SGX may see growth in the longer term through its strategy of positioning itself as a regional exchange offering international investors different ways to gain access to Asian markets. At 0213 GMT, shares of SGX were 1.1 percent lower at S$7.42, and have fallen about 12 percent since the start of the year. |

I love SGX. My 2nd Best performing counter. Currently, hit a resistance at $7.72, but should break if STI continue to trend upwards. $8.00 is still my Target Price. |

Unless u have stop loss in place, otherwise how to react if disaster strikes while retail traders are out for lunch during continuous trading time? Maybe all brokerages should consider providing this function in their trading platforms. | ||||

thanks for the dose of condifence. In fact i made a big decision last week and today...last week i sold all my STXOSV and loaded SGX in full force... today i sold all my gar with little profits and loaded SGX in full force again... the chart + all day trading + CD in oct..all looks set for a strong bull run for SGX...

Full day trading shld be beneficial to S?GX - No wastage of electricity since aircon is centralised system and cant be turned off during lunch time, so, making full use of it and the man power bring more revenue. Full use of the system... more trading volumes.= more $$ comes in Cheers to Full day trading. |
