x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Hachi, my apology, I went for my medical appt at NUH after lunch. Wah shock to see SGX slided from gain of 22 cents to only 6 cents. It takes time to get your wish price of 8.xx leow. On 9 Oct 07, SGX peaked at 17.20 and closed end of the day at 16.40. Day gain was a dollar and volumn was 12700. Today, SGX got about the same volumn traded in day, 12870, but looking at the closed day price and gain margin, thats explains how vulnerable the stock market is. Basically, it was manipulated by the Big Timer, small timmer will die first if they are not experient and vigilant(simply they don't know when to enter and when to exit). Worst, the small timer will die more urgly if they don't have the capital to protect themselves. Experience and Vigilant are the paramount personal properties and strength to get involve in stock trading/investment. Very difficult to teach someone how to trade, with less casualty, but, if you know more, read more about stock investment. Value add would be sometime kena burn a bit. Ha ha. This is not the end of the world, keep it up man, you have alot of gurus on board. Cheers.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Let me do some guesstimate analysis... haha...   SGX's price at its peak in Oct was around $16.7. Volumes were quite high then. Currently, volumes have more than halved. Since volumes are directly proportional to SGX's earnings, it's fair price now would be less than half of  $16.7... which would mean a value of around $8 or less ??

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Senior, you are right...actually bought one on 22/2 at 9.38 when all blue chips were moving up.  Thought that SGX will follow suit, instead it went down...so buy again at 8.82 to average ... and it went down further and further ...Wanted to cut loss at 8.95 for both but can't bear to let go ... thought it will u-turn. Keeping for grandchildren is still a long long way for me...I hope i don't have to wait that long for it to make a come back.  Need to cut and buy back to cut losses fast. Vested in yzj and unloaded liao but making big losses too.  Must analyse other counters and recoup... Thanks for your advice.

Unlikely you bought SGX between 21-22 Jan 08. That are the only days that SGX fell within your price range. I think you got it after CNY. At this rull period, SGX is not good counter to keep, hit and run is the best. You give yourself the loss margin too wide, more than 30%. Mon I bougth SGX at 8.09, Tue plunged to 7.81, Wed I download it at 0900 at 7.90. end of the day it closed at 7.58. Though pinched but still happy as I had sucessfully run for my life, he he. Tue was a good day as I bought SPC at 6.95, ah this stock need to keep for my grandchildren leow. Cheers.

Don't go DBS Vickers as its online response is demn slow and even got stuck sometime. Now I seldom use Vickers, I use UOB Kayhian online. Its online update on stocks is instance instead of Vickers as you have to do screen Refresh to get new update. The main advantage for online trading is you will catch thing and run faster than using on phone(via broker). Online trading, you can start queing either new buy, contra or even shorting at 0855. You can make the trading faster if you already had determined what to buy, mark the Buy or Sell order, key in the qty and password ready. For the price column, you may fill in the expected price you want and watch out the actual transaction prices appearing on the order book at 0900. Then you just need to follow the running real prices and enter your choice and Press Submit. If you miss the boat, you may do withdrawal within seconds. Simple fast and easy. Cheers.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Now it hold at 7.75, gain of 17 cents as compared to yesterday 7.58. If you want to clear it, then watch it closely. It will not continue to rise, when it rised to saturated point, it will u turn owing to profit taking before close at lunch. If it stay stable near lunch time, then you still can monitor after lunch. Best it stay stable around 7.70, then you can bet with DJ tonite for a rise, If that so, you may see 8.xx tomorrow morning, by then you have to make your decision, as profit taking normally is the trend during Fri's afternoon. (price momentum and bar chart). may possibly get a shortterm tech rebound soon tho; williams oversold. wouldn't quite place my hopes on that though; likely to be a one-two day thing. may not be worth the ride for the risk involved.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	SGX yesterday volumn was 1.16 b and today closed at 1.356b. Though there was increase of trading volumn, the outlook of SGX's price in the coming weeks is not that optimistic. If tonite DJ is decline again, then short the burger tomorrow morning, my view.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	the outlook is bad...SGX is dependent on the volumes and amt exchanged in our daily trading...however this morning newspapers did state we are experiencing a very low volume yesterday since 11 Feb... and today more terrible..........the volume seems to be lower than yesterday at the present moment...so when many stay away from the stocks market...SGX how to earn? affect them greatly too anyway..SGX had already broke its support level this week...looks of a continued downfall
