I don't have a single clue on why you actually make this call as the daily chart resemble a bull flag consolidation pattern above 20MA whichever way I look at it. In this case, I am slightly upward bias for this counter in the short term. Thanks for sharing.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	First you must understand my trading strategy. My trading strategy is to capture the trend before it starts. Before the trend starts, I make Buy and Sell decision based on little Signal I get. During this stage, the signals are not clear, hence there is a chance of wrong reading. However, if there is a clear signal of trend reversal and my position is wrong. I would immediately close position and reposition my trade. I would make a small loss during this stage. But once the trend starts, I would ride the trend to the end. By doing this, I'm risking a 3% loss for a 10% or more gain. Gaecia, I understand your concern. You've seem Wilmar has fallen quite a bit and, to you, it's a better to Buy than to Short. So you question why I call short yesterday and quickly move to Buy today. I call short because the last few weeks Wilmar has been range bound and prior to the yesterday, Wilmar has been closing continuous in black candlesticks, which give me the impression that it's going into the downtrend. This is why I call short. I switch to long today because Wilmar produces a longer white candlestick with higher volume, which is a Bullish signal. This signal me that my previous call on short is incorrect and the downtrend is most likely not going to happen. We are still at the early stage of Wilmar's trend, which could be up or down. I make the decision based on the little signal I get. It's okay that I make a small loss now, because it's the big gain I'm after at the end of the trend. Let us recap Call no. 1 -  You made  this call  to short Wilmar last night. This morning, you said your short signals on Wilmar are cancelled. Call no. 2 -  This evening after market closed you said  ideally (you didn't actually execute a short order at all)  shorts on Wilmar  should be only opened near end of the day ie.  4-5pm because that's what every experienced trader would  do.  No mention of covering within today because shorts are supposed to stay opened till the next trading day. Call no. 3 -  Five mins after making call no. 2 (which was  when market was already closed),  made  call no.3  to open  long position on Wilmar tmr because it has made a remarkable reversal today  based on  today's ending  price. I'm stating all these only because you have many  avid  readers who will in  fact act on your sniper calls out of  sheer convenience (lacking in  preparation)  and  over reliance. Since you acknowledged there is a bullish reversal on Wilmar,  why  is it  still rewarding to  open a short position  in  the face of a reversal  (because you said shorts should be opened by eod today) only to  open a  long position on it  next day? That hyper trading in and out  makes  a great  trader  without the stigma of  gambling?  And what is the right timing to close short and open long tmr, also past 4pm? Perhaps I should  never have  posted to forewarn you and  the others  last night. Let you  take  a lesson  as you've  always said so self-righteously, that one  is  responsible for his own  trade and unaccountable to anyone else. I rarely trade in the morning. It didn't occur to me that I must warn people on this and I apologies. However, I feel that everyone should take responsibility for their own trades. It's not right to blame others for their own action. They should learn to trade themselves and not rely on others to tell them what to Buy. My calls are not meant to make me look smart or for my ego. They are meant to share with others what I found and what I intend to do. A true trader will take my calls as a reference, do this own analysis and make his own decision. And if his trade fails, I know he would not blame me
