Also, " To cater to the narrowing of the bid sizes, SGX will widen the Forced Order Range for all securities to +/- 20 bids from +/- 10 bids across all price ranges."

to put things in perspective, only change are 1) those stock under 20cents

2) those from $1 - $1.99

all other ranges remain as before? am i right? those from 1) 21cents to 99 cents and those 2) above $2 remain status quo.....

Thk Qs for d timely remindering, and even setting an example.

Believe it remain un-change (no change) for trade between and from 0.20 cents onward to a dollar.

EG: - $0.205 and next range is $0.210 and next is $0.215 and so on...

correct me if wrong.

this surely requires some getting use to and trading adjustment as trade price ranges increases for stocks below 20 cents. now have more things to learn.

Come Monday (4th July) onwards, there will be a change to the minimum bid size of SGX listed securities. For stocks priced below 20 cents, the new minimum spread will be 0.1 cent. Stocks priced from 20 cents to $1.995 will be trading on a 0.5 cent spread, while stocks $2.00 and above will have a minimum spread of 1 cent.

In view of the changes, Macquarie will be listing 12 new warrants on Monday for investors to take advantage of the reduced spreads. The new warrants will have higher warrants per share (WPS) and will be priced below 20 cents. As such, the bid/ask spread of the warrants could be as low as 0.1 cent. The warrants could potentially be more sensitive to the underlying stock price movements.

but nth is fair.. wat we can do is, rmb to donate/help to those needy, i guess tat's wat we can do

as far as the country is concerned, we have to accept the fact tat we are a few centuries younger than those european countries. their ancentors had made $ and the current generation is enjoying..

BUT

things might change.. we work and (suffer relatively) now.. but i believe that as times go by, our future generation will enjoy wat we are saving for them.

Global rally continues

Singapore stocks moved higher for a third consecutive day as Greece passed the first part of an austerity plan to meet EU aid requirements. Global stocks had moved higher the last three days on growing optimism over Greece. The SiMSCI rallied 1.2% day-on-day (dod) to finish above the 360 mark at 360.4.

Keppel Corp's continued contract-winning streak
