x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	i don't think that si the reason. the major shareholders are not buying in the open market, but from their share options and share awards, which come from the treasury shares. so the reason for the rise in share price is more so due to other people buying in, possibly taking postiveness from the fact that the major shareholders are exercising their options, a sign that current prices are depressed and optimisim for the future. rise in share price nothing to do with koh ban heng exercising his options.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Reason for cheong is because big SPC shareholders (BBs) have been increasing their stake (buying in the shares in large amts) in this company consistantly for the past 3 days, eg. Koh Ban Heng, etc..look at SGX announcements for details..

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	How long you intend to hold if you buy? I can only say that in general, for any stock to return back to  Oct 2007 Highs will require a lot of waiting. My guess is as good as anybody else. But I would say that the current people are slowly returning to the equities, but the all important institutional advisors, and fund managers are facing alot of issues. You will know there's a recovery when volume falls within 1-2billion on the SGX regularly. But what is important is what you invest in before that happend.   Penny for your thoughts

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Do your homework. I only thought of SPC because I read Jim Cramer's "Real Money". You can borrow from the library. It is good for those hold long term type of people. He recommends holding at least one Energy Stock, hence my position on SPC. Any other thoughts?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	mom bought 1 lot @ 2.32 while i'm waiting for my CDP account to arrive. Price at 3.16pm 30-jan-2009 is 2.42 with 8 cent dividend ex-date 18th May OPEC says current price level unacceptable. They want at least USD60-80 and will meet in mid-March to discuss production cuts.

(Benchmark and compare with the competitor u will know who is good and who is not) This recession have help me to identified which company is better other, so many lousy management that cannot change fast enough will not survive the current market condition. (Some are still expanding in current condition could be a gem or a rock)
