Alex, The stock keeps lingering around 2.6 to 2.8 for quite a while.... holding position still waiting for a final push for it move move to 2.9 and once reaches 3 will be all the way up again. The flip sid eis if drop below 2.6 then will go back to 2. What are they waiting for.... results. 1Q09 un-audited numbers.... also some cash from China market investment which CapitalLand has been putting in Beijing and Shanghai which slow to see results. For me, I am stocking up.... even if it goes back to 2 it is a worthwhile stock |

Very good comments. Thanks. A few remisers also telling me to be watch-out the dark cloud. T#B suggests short selling if hit 2.68 and below. OC#C Sec weighs between 2.66 and 2.40 ........ any good suggestions ...

not sure when to believe and who to believe when it comes to analyst reports. seems like there are all hidden agendas from the houses. anyway just came back from Daryl Guppy's seminar organised by Macquarie and POEMS. he seems to be sharing that the world markets are all at crossroads now. whether it turns out into a suckers' rally or bull run really needs to be seen in the coming weeks' developments. we are nearing the resistance levels for STI @ 1960. Korea's KOSPI is a leading market, like HK, to Singapore. Kospi has already broken resistance level and is on way up to the next level. hopefully STI follows suit in the coming sessions. He singled out a couple of STI stocks and one of them is Capitaland. His view on this stock is very positive. showed a chart from Jan 09 till now, according to him it is forming an almost perfect cup pattern and he is excited as the potential upside is all the way to $5plus. If we are looking at technicals, I will rather take his advice rather than follow contradicting stock reports.. who knows who really benefits at the end of day from these reports. just my personal opinion. |

Too strong a resistance to overcome for now - After a rally of 84% over the last 1.5 months, CapitaLand may be heading for a pullback in the coming weeks; this as the recent price action has formed a dark cloud cover (bearish pattern) just below its strong 1-year downtrend resistance line. - Technical indicators (Force Index, RSI and MACD Histogram) have been displaying bearish divergence to the price action over the last few weeks; coupled with the OBV indicator falling below its 1-month uptrend line, we believe that the recent rally has weakened considerably. - Hence we expect a pullback to the immediate support at around $2.66 (1- month uptrend line, also minor gap in mid Apr ’09 and the 200-day MA), with the next support at $2.40 (minor trough and gap in early Apr ‘09). - Any upside from here will likely meet resistance at around $3.13 (Apr ’09 high and 1-year downtrend resistance line), followed by $3.54 (minor gap in Aug ’08). http://www.remisiers.org/research//Technical%20Analysis%20-%20Capitaland%20-%20090421%20-%20OIR.pdf |
