I just bought 50 lots at S$0.14 ! But maybe will drop further. I went in because it is too attractive in price. Saw their directors bought last week or 2 weeks ago at S$0.16x ! | ||

US futures market is starting to rebounce, hope 2night US DowJ will rebounce ! Latest news updates : Taiwan's riches men - "Wang Yong Ching" (plastic and chemical), died in US. He went to US to survey his business, and now after seeing all his factory and production all went down, and economy crisis is confirmed. I think he die of heart attack - my own guess, news did not mention how he died 2day ! Take it easy ! |

Agree. Singapore living is getting higher suck man. Temasek selling all the power plants in singapore to foreign instition making common people bear with the electricity bill hike and they make big profit. Sad. I guess they need money to buy US Bank. Try to cut some expense more ba, it harder to get more money out of a irrational market like this. Got be more patience. When the company price is lelong, big fish will come in and eat up the smaller fish. That is the time for small investor to make money. Singapore is very reliant on US and Europe. We are like their kids, if they suffer we also will get pocket money cut de. |

Just calculate with broking house, Cosco rebounce, today no luck, lost coming to S$1.8K ! So not always win one ! But life is hard, need to make some "kopi" $$$ as everything is now so expensive ! | ||

Hi Knightrider Hope the market will recover, no clear sign yet. I hope the aunt and uncle will get some compensation back cus some of Relationship manager in bank really cannot make it. Out to make money, dun care about the people in nature quite sad actually. One day i will get old, going to bank will be a dangerous place. Getting worries of being rob and also worries of being sold by the RM into a pit hole. Wishing every investor can make money in the market, but right now got to be very cautious as there is alot pit holes. Invest with alot care. Some of the small list companies are waiting to go bust i think, weak balance sheet, bad cash flow and no good business opportunity in sight Keep up the posting, definite good for all of us. =D |

That is why, I try my luck yesterday, I did not mislead anyone, I did not post yesterday on Cosco shorting. I just try my luck. Today I shorted Cosco again this morning, also try my luck, at 2.45pm just managed to buy back ! Thus, if can win, that is good, if not cut lost. In stock market, those lead to fail is when one lack of courage to cut lost. As what you say, Mr. Oei just gamble on his luck. We small punters can also try, but must prepare to cut, and when time to cut, must "ka ka and xiong xiong cut", please do not hesitate. For HG I am confident, thus, I will post when to buy and when to out. I did not ask anyone to follow. You can read to past time. You earn, you need not share, just keep. You lost, there is no one to blame. For those old uncle and aunty, they can blame everyone when time is not on their side and when investment went nose dive. It is your own greed and one can blame that I did not read all those fine print or I do not understand, but when you get $$$, you say this fund is good, fantastic. You lost and start blaming everyone. The world is round, no one force you with a gun or knife to rob you. Willing seller and willing buyer ! I did not ment I am hard in my heart when saw those lost in the bank's tactic's hard selling. It is your hard earn $$$, you willing to risk it, take your chance and luck. I still believe in own investment, if I make wrong decision, I blame myself, not anyone. 2morrow is another good day for bargain hunting, for those did not pick up. As T+3 days is due when Monday's trading is due for force sell, but will also depend on 2night's US market. Good Luck men ! |

Precisely, if your intention is good. This kind of high risk atitude, u make money u keep to yourself dun show. Risk come with reward, but what the % risk and what the % of reward on your shorting venture. If all investor behave like you, the market will be in a chaos. All type of investor need to co-exist in the market, so that we can see some form of stability. Common people work hard slogging for their rice bowl, all it take is one bad advice from you. He got to go hungry for months. Your investing attitude come wilth big risk, dun you agree. Do you explain how u short cosco. what price u short and when u let go before the market open. U dun show because you cannot guarantee the trade will go well. Haiz, i rest my case. |

Hi jackjames He made alot money trading his own method, his remisier and dealer love him. Willthout speculator market will not have big up and drop, he is play money he can afford to lose no question. We dun question ppl tradering method, each to it own You look at the bank relationship selling credit derivature to uncle and aunt. No Ethic also. Sell the idea of 5% return, without explain the odds of losing the whole sum of capital. Naked shorting is a dangerous game, do not advise common investor to do that. Win that 1k - 2k, with the possibility of unknown loss if cosco suspend what kind of risk are you taking. I pity the remisoer or dealer of these uncle do not advise them again shorting in a irrational market. All it take is 1 time out of 50 win the uncles willl be wipe out. Mr Oei is a big savvy investor, he buy AIG (He say he is taking a bet on the newspaper) The rest of his trade dun apply to the situation. He is doing if win good for charity so can help ppl, if lose he nothing cus it is donation. |

To make someone eye red again, yesterday at Shenton way, a group of old man was talking about Cosco, thus 7 early and 8 early my friend and I follow suit and sell short Cosco, and buy back before lunch, make some quick $$ around S$2k. So, u c, no free lunch, want to make $$$, need to take some risk. |

Aiyah, don't talk nonsense la. When come to share argument, always say look at Warren Buffet, I would rather go to hotel menu and look at set lunch buffet, S$13.90++. No need some busy body to remind us, who is Warren, yes indeed he is good, very good, everyone know liao. I would rather look at near one here, look at Mr. Oei HL who take the opporunity to make S$7 million in less than a week. It is an opporunity to make good $$$ from sick US market. Our cluture and market in Singapore is different from US. As for Mr. Oei, he got $$$ so buy expensive share. Most of small investor like us only has less $$, so make from penny stocks. I did not mislead anyone, just grab the opporunity when got $$$ to make. This forum is to help make $$$. And I am not comparing myself with anyone, Mr. Oei or Mr. Buffet lunch. I just sizes opporunity and make some "kopi all" $$$. Everyone say buy blue, green or yellow or red chips, but how many lots you can buy? So people who buy penny stocks, we have to understand them. Again talk crap when say look at certain share in 5 yrs time. All those are for talking crap for fund and financial institute. Even guru also "bo bao chun" (hokkien), one can also ask some "Tan Kee" or "Tiao Tan" (Hokkien), see this share will make money in 5 yrs time. Buy long term, can buy long long term. Just when some ask a superior country's government when recently fund injection why invest in US sick bank, they reply this is for long long long term investment - how long is long ? In share market, one has to ask your own risk appetite. How much can u swallow ? If today I lost all, can I still contnue with my life, so individual has their own risk level. Here this forum, talk nonsense also can but please do not step on others toe. How much you understand muay (me)? So please do not anyhow mis-judge anyone. After all you are just a new member when check on your profile. If some fund managers trying to "buay go yiok" (Hokkien) and push certain share, we are all bright eye people, and don't think can lure anyone into it. Read this thread see who started it ! |
