Same thinking here. The shipping industry is in recovery mode. We hope to see it turning profitable to confirm that. I think the level of over $2 has priced in the profitability. Going further up will depend on the profit we expect by year end.

On Wednesday, NOL re-test its resistance at $2.08 and closed at $2.04 with low volume of 13.2 million shares traded. A spinning top occurred (a spinning top is a candle with a small real body). Spinning tops identify a session in which there is little price action (as defined by the difference between the open and the close). During a rally or near new highs, a spinning top can be a sign that prices are losing momentum and the bulls may be in trouble. Three black candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three black crows, the steady downward pattern is bearish. RSI & MACD are bullish as both indicators continue to trend upward. Important Resistance of NOL: $2.08 Immediate Support of NOL: $1.96 Prices are now supported on the technical/ 20/50/100 days MA at $1.96 NOL seems to have a hard time breaking the systematical triangle and recent high at $2.08 and $2.13 respectively. Spinning top, Three black candles, Engulfing bear candle sticks that were marked for the past 3 trading sessions does not bode well for this counter. On 13/July, there are also some selling pressure which NOL has to re-test the support at $1.96 indicates that profit taking is in progress SEE ANALYSIS FOR SMRT We do not advise entry unless NOL can break $2.13 at high volume or wait till further pullback before buying. For ppl who are vested really need to watch out..NOL is volatile stock |

On Thursday, NOL break through the resistance at $1.98 and closed at $2.01 with high volume of 44.1 million shares traded. (3 times normal average volume) A long white candle stick with upper/lower shadow demonstrates the high expectation of the investors for its Q2 cooperate earning report. Both RSI & MACD are turning bullish as MACD about to perform a “golden cross” Important Resistance of NOL: $2.05 Immediate Support of NOL: $1.98 Currently the prices is squeezed between the technical/ Fibonacci 50% resistance at $2.05 and technical/Fibonacci 61.8% resistance/20/50/100 MA support at $1.98 SEE WILMAR ANALYSIS The recent good earning report from its rival has actually boasted the sentiment of this counter. Thus we would advise investors to look out for the resistance at $2.05 tomorrow and buy on break out if you have missed out today trading opportunities. |

On Thursday, NOL tested the major support at $1.92 and closed at low of $1.91 with high volume of 25.7 million shares traded. A long black candle stick with short upper shadow affirmed to the high selling pressure due to poor market sentiments Both RSI & MACD are bearish as MACD did a “cross down” today. Important Resistance of NOL: $1.92 Immediate Support of NOL: $1.89 (Technical/Fibonacci 78.6% support) We do not encourage to buy now since NOL has fallen below the 20/50/100 days MA at high selling pressure.
